Rethmyno Cretan Kings and coach Thanasis Skourtopoulos parted ways after two years.
Rethymno signed Skourtopoulos in July 2014 with one year contract. Skourtopoulos continues as the assistant coach of Katsikaris in the Greek National Team. In the last two years Rethmyno finished in the 8th place of the Basket League Greece 2015-2016 Regular Season and in the 6th place of the 2014-2015 Regular Season.
