Iraklis BC has continued to bolster its roster with the announcement of the signing of Greek-Canadian player Cole John Syllas. The 23-year-old has inked a two-year contract with the Thessaloniki-based club.

Player Profile and Career Highlights
Cole John Syllas was born on August 1, 2000, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He stands at 1.96m (6'5") and can play effectively as both a guard and a forward, offering valuable versatility to Iraklis's squad.
Collegiate Career (Queen's University, Canada): Syllas played collegiate basketball at Queen's University in Kingston from 2019 to 2024. In his final season (2023-2024), he averaged an impressive 15.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 4 assists across 25 games, showcasing his all-around game.
Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL): Following his college career, Syllas gained professional experience in the CEBL.
With the Ottawa BlackJacks in the 2022-23 season, he averaged 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 10 games.
He later played for the Hamilton Honey Badgers in the 2023-24 season, where he averaged 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1 assist in 8 games, notably shooting 41.7% from three-point range.
Greek League Debut (2024-25 Season): Syllas made his debut in Greek basketball at the start of the recently concluded 2024-25 season. He initially played for Mykonos BC in the Elite League (Greek Second Division), where he contributed 2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 16 appearances over 8.9 minutes per game.
In January 2025, he transferred to NE Megaridas, also in the Elite League. Here, his performance significantly improved, averaging 10.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 13 games.
