Karditsa Signs American Guard El Ellis

ASK Karditsas has officially announced the signing of American guard El Ellis (26 years old, 1.90 meters / 6'3"). Ellis joins the team for the 2025-26 season, becoming the first new international addition to their roster for the upcoming GBL and Basketball Champions League campaigns.

Ellis most recently played for Hapoel Afula in Israel, where he made a significant impact in a short stint.

El Ellis, born December 18, 1999, in Durham, North Carolina, is a versatile guard capable of playing both backcourt positions. Known for his scoring and playmaking, he brings dynamism to the team.


Career Highlights


Collegiate Career (2019-2024):


Began at Tallahassee Junior College, where he averaged 14.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.

Transferred to the renowned University of Louisville (2021-2023) for two seasons. His 2022-23 season was particularly impressive, with averages of 17.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 35.8 minutes per game.

Concluded his college career at Arkansas (2023-2024), averaging 6.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 21 minutes.

Professional Start (2024-Present):


NBA G League - Iowa Wolves (2024): Began his professional journey in the G League, playing 46 games and averaging 12.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 27.8 minutes.

Hapoel Afula (Israel - ISR-1, 2024-2025): After his G League stint, Ellis moved to Israel. He finished the season with Hapoel Afula, where he averaged 15.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 31.4 minutes per game. His four appearances in the Israeli league saw him average 13.8 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Peristeri signed Jeff Allen

Peristeri signed Jeff Allen. The 31-year-old American forward penned a one year contract with the newly promoted team. Allen graduated from Virginia Tech and went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. He started his career in France with Olympique Antibes and has also played in Israel wi11th Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Afula, Maccabi Haifa, and Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and in Lithuania for Šiauliai.

Koroivos Amaliadas sign Travis Cohn

Koroivos Amaliadas sign Travis Cohn. The 28-year-old American guard started the season in Israel at Hapoel Afula, where in 10 games he averaged 12.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Cohn has played professionalyin Italy with Andrea Costa Imola, in Cyprus with Enosis, in Hungary with JP-Auto Jaszbereny KSE, in Slovenia with Helios and Elektra, in the NBA G League with Sioux Falls Skyforce, in Iceland with Snaefell, in the D-League with Springfield A., and in Greece with Apollon Patras.

Ilisiakos signed Eric Devendorf

Ilisiakos signed Eric Devendorf. The 26 years old Eric Michael Devendorf graduated from Syracuse University and has played in the NBA Development League with the Reno Bighorns, then moved to New Zealand for Waikato Pistons and Wellington Saints, Australia for Melbourne Tigers, Torku Selcuk Universitesi in Turkey, then back to NBA Development League for Idaho Stampedebe. In the last years he was playing in Ukraine for BC Dnipro-Azot and Israel for Hapoel Afula. Devendorf will replace Marland Smith and will probably debut against KAOD.
