Kymi sign Gary McGhee. The 29-year-old American replaces Jake O'Brien who got injured. McGhee graduated from Pittsburgh and went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. He started his professional career in Turkey with Bandırma Kırmızım, and has also played in Germany for Medi Bayreuth and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, in Romania for CSM U Oradea, in Kosovo for Sigal Prishtina, in Spain for CB Breogán, and in Greece for Kolossos Rodou. In the previous season McGhee played in Germany for Tigers Tübingen.

Kymi sign Jake O'Brien. The 28 years old American forward began his college career at Boston University and graduated from Temple. In his last college season with Temple O'Brien averaged 9.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game. O'Brien went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft and started his professional career in Ukraine with Ferro-ZNTU but finished the season in the NBA D-League with Bakersfield Jam. In the next season O'Brien moved to Germany for Eisbären Bremerhaven and in 2015 he moved to Cyprus for Keravnos Strovolou. In the last season O'Brien won the Cypriot Basketball Championship with Keravnos.
