2nd International Nick Galis Cup

Aris Thessaloniki will organize the 2nd International Nick Galis Cup with the participation of Lokomotiv Kuban, Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir and Union Olimpija Ljubljana. The tournament will take place in Thessaloniki between 25th and 27th September 2015.

Nick Galis Cup 2015 dates and teams

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar is the third team that will participate in the Nick Galis Cup 2015. The international friendly tournament will take place in Thessaloniki on 26th and 27th September 2015. Besides Lokomotiv and the host team Aris, Pınar Karşıyaka and Olimpija Ljubljana will participate in the tournament.

CSKA Moscow beat Panathinaikos for Nick Galis Cup

CSKA Moscow beat Panathinaikos for Nikos Galis Cup. Dimitris Itoudis coached CSKA against a team that spend more than a decade, Lefteris Bochoridis returned to Alexandrio after his transfer to Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos could win the game but in the last offense CSKA scored 4 points with a goal foul and stole the victory. For CSKA Moscow Aaron Jackson had 16 points, Vitaly Fridzon had 13 points and Andrey Vorontsevich had 9 rebounds. For Panathinaikos Esteban Batista had 11 points and 6 rebounds, Nikos Pappas had 11 points and Vlantimir Giankovits had 10 points.

Aris defeat Banvit for Nick Galis Cup

Aris defeat Banvit for Nick Galis Cup. Banvit seemed tired and Aris supporters helped the team won the game with ease. For Aris Alexander Vezenkov was the leader and scored 25 points with Torey Thomas adding ten more. For Banvit Rowland scored 11 points.
Quarters' scores: 16-11, 35-18, 46-31, 66-48.

1st International Nick Galis Cup

Aris BC announced the 1st International Nick Galis Cup that will take place in Thessaloniki on 20 and 21 September 2014. Aris, Panathinaikos, CSKA Moscow and Banvit Basketbol Kulübü will be the four clubs that will participate. Aris will celebrate 100 years of sports history.
