Ilisiakos wanted the victory in order to avoid the relegation but with a crucial mistake in the final seconds lost the game and relegated in the second division after five consecutive years in the Greek Basket League. Ilisiakos started the game with a 6-0 run and was leading the score in the first quarter. Rethymno Aegean counter attacked in the second quarter and with a 12-0 run took the lead in score. Rethymno Aegean was keeping the lead in the third and last quarter until the end. Ilisiakos took a small lead and was close to avoid relegation but Courtney Pigram made a crucial turnover and lost the ball. Giannis Kalampokis scored and made the score 63-62. Ilisiakos made another turnover and lost the game which led to the relegation in the second division. Ilisiakos lost by Panionios for Greek Basket League 20th day. Panionios had lost 3 consecutive games and wanted this victory but Ilisiakos wanted it more since the team stands alone in the bottom of the league table. Panionios took an early lead in the first quarter but Ilisiakos with 33-17 partial score in the second quarter turned the game upside down. Third quarter was more balanced and in the end Panionios with Errick McCollum and Landon Milbourne won a tight game. For Panionios Errick McCollum had 27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Olympiacos hosted and defeated Ilisiakos for Greek Basket League 15th day. In the first game without its top scorer, Kevin Anderson, Ilisiakos made a suprisingly good game and was leading the game for 21 minutes. Olympiacos had to tried more in a supposingly easy game. For Olympiacos 11 players, all except young Katsivelis scored. For Ilisiakos the veteran Nikos Chatzis scored 22 points and DJ Stephens 6 points with 13 rebounds. Jamario Moon was the top scorer of Olympiacos in his first game in the League.

Ikaros Chalkidas hosted and defeated Ilisiakos for Greek League tenth day. Ryan Richards started his second game with his new team really taking many shots and scoring 8 points. Richards was out in the second half but his teammates Manolopoulos, Aska and Govens had a great game with 8/13 three pointers and kept the difference above ten points. For Ilisiakos Kafkis, Kevin Anderson and DJ Stephens had a good first half. Third quarter was balanced and the fourth crucial quarter starting with the home team ahead by 14 points. In the last quarter Ilisiakos with three Greek players, Periklis Dorkofikis, Panagiotis Kafkis and Stelios Ioannou, counter attacked and lowered the difference up to one point. The veteran Gagaloudis scored two crucial points in the last thirty seconds, Mbodj scored another two and the difference was back to one point. Ryan Richards missed a shot for Ikaros Chalkidas but in the last attack Marland Smith lost two shots and the chance to win the game. Ikaros Chalkidas won a game that was leading with ease but ruined the difference in the end. Dominique Sutton collected 10 rebounds but scored 6 points and missed another double double.
