Giannis Georgallis renews with Kolossos Rodou


Giannis Georgallis renews with Kolossos Rodou. That will be the eight year with the club for the 35-year-old Greek forward. Georgallis started his professional career with Apollon Patras and has also played for Panellinios and Panionios. In 2010 he joined Kolossos Rodou and after four years he moved to Apollon Patras before moving back to Kolossos in 2015. Georgallis is the captain of the club and the player with the most caps with Kolossos in the Basket League Greece.

Georgallis returns to Kolossos Rodou

Georgallis returns to Kolossos Rodou. This will be the third time that the 32 years old Georgallis will play for Kolossos. In the previous season Georgallis played for Apollon Patras where he averaged 3.1 points and 2.4 rebounds.

Apollon Patras beat Panionios for Basket League twelfth day

Apollon Patras beat Panionios for Basket League twelfth day. After the Greek Cup Apollon Patras made its first road victory against Panionios in Nea Smyrni. For Panionios only William Coleman with 22 points and 14 rebounds, Dimitris Verginis with 17 points and 7 assists and Yaroslav Korolev with 11 points and 9 rebounds were not enough. For the winners Gaios Skordilis made another double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds against his previous team. Muhammad El-Amin and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick scored 13 points each, Giannis Georgalis scored 12 points and Kevin Galloway served 7 assists.

Apollon Patras signed Giannis Georgallis

Apollon Patras signed Giannis Georgallis. The 31 years old Greek forward moves for the second time in his career from Kolossos Rodou to Apollon Patras. Georgallis started his career in Kolossos before moving to Apollon for six years, then one year in Panellinios, two years in Panionios, back to Panellinios, back to Kolossos Rodou and now back to Apollon Patras. Georgallis will debut against his former team Kolossos Rodou.

Kolossos Rodou beat Aris for Greek League 26th day

Kolossos Rodou hosted and beat Aris for Greek Basket League 26th day. Nontas Papantoniou with a three pointer in the last minute gave his team the victory. Kolossos Rodou finished the season with a victory and Aris will continue to play offs againt Olympiacos. Lefteris Bochoridis continued with good games and was Aris' top scorer with 18 points while Michalis Pelekanos had 17 points and Alexander Vezenkov 16 points. For Kolossos Rodou Kostas Kakaroudis had 14 points and 5 rebounds, Nontas Papantoniou had 12 points with his winning three pointer and Giannis Georgallis had 3 points and 7 rebounds.
