Elias Papatheodorou is Astana's new coach

Elias Papatheodorou is Astana's new coach. The 41 years old Greek coach parted ways with Kifisia after 9 years. Papatheodorou led Kifisia to the Basket League Play Offs. This will be the first time Papatheodorou will word abroad.

Panathinaikos wins Astana in friendly game

Panathinaikos won Kazakhstani basketball team Astana, in the first friendly game for this season in Athens, Greece. Final score was 73-62 and quarters' scores were 19-14, 41-27, 63-47, 73-62.

Antonis Fotsis invited the fans to attend the friendly game which was his return to Panathinaikos after two years and he celebrated with being the leading scorer with 12 points.
