The 25 years old American forward graduated from Mississippi State and started his professional career in the Dominican Republic with Leones de Santo Domingo. In 10 games with Leones Daniels averaged 11.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Daniels continued in Bulgaria for Balkan and in Romania for Phoenix Galati.
