Panionios qualified for the Last 32 round of Eurocup and the draw placed the team on Group L. Besides Panionios in the Group L are Crvena Zvezda Telekom, Nizhny Novgorod and Bilbao Basket. Crvena Zvezda Telekom was in Euroleague where it lost two games by another Greek team, Panathinaikos.
Nizhny Novgorod was in the same group with PAOK, where the Greek team was eliminated and Nizhny won it twice. From first two teams of the group qualify to the next round.
