Kavala signed Alex Gordon. The 30 years old guard graduated from Vanderbilt and then moved to Europe where he played in Turkey for Oyak Bursa and Yesilgiresun Belediye, in Germany for Eisbaren Bremerhaven , in France for JSF Nanterre and in the previous season he player for Afyonkarahisar Belediye and Tsmoki-Minsk. With Afyonkarahisar he averaged 24.2 points and 8 assists per game.
