Athinaikos has announced another significant addition to its roster, bringing in Bulgarian guard Borislava Hristova. The 28-year-old (born July 12, 1996) joins the Greek club on a two-year contract after a standout season with Spar Girona in Spain.

Borislava Hristova, standing at 1.83m (5'11"), is a prolific scoring shooting guard. She is also the current captain of the Bulgarian National Team.
Collegiate Career (Washington State University): Hristova played for Washington State University from 2015 to 2020. She graduated as the all-time leading scorer in the university's women's basketball history with 2,162 points, setting numerous school records, including single-season scoring (661 points in 2018-19). She was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection (2018, 2019) and was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team in 2016.
