Aries Trikala and Giorgos Fountas part ways. Fountas asked the team to release him so he will find another team where he will play more. Aries Trikala respected the player's will and released him with a friendly announcement, wishing him luck.

Trikala BC renew with Giorgos Fountas
Aries Trikala BC, newly promoted in Greek Basketball League, renewed the contract of the captain Giorgos Fountas.
Aries Trikala BC won promotion in First League after just one year in Second League. The team plays in the Municipal Stadium of Trikala.
