James Gist named MVP of 16th day of Greek Basket League for his performance against Aries Trikala. Gist played 22 minutes scored14 points, collected 9 rebounds and had 2 steals, 1 block, 1 assist and 4 fouls drawn.

Ikaros Chalkidas signed Travon Woodall

Ikaros Chalkidas signed Travon Woodall. The 25 years old American guard will debut against Panelefsiniakos. Woodall graduated from Pittsburgh and his previous team was Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi in Turkey.

Ikaros Chalkidas lost by Olympiacos for Greek League 16th day

Ikaros Chalkidas lost by Olympiacos for Greek Basket League 16th day. With Matt Lojeski scoring 11 points in the first quarter, Olympiacos took the lead by 5 points, 19-24. Ikaros Chalkidas was competitive for one half. In the first half the difference was only 3 points and the game tight. In the third quarter Olympiacos let Ikaros Chalkidas score only 8 points and created a safe difference. Since Olympiacos secured the victory, played better and broadened the final score to 23 points. Good game for Ikaros Chalkidas but lasted only one half against Euroleague winners. For Ikaros Chalkidas Dominique Sutton had 15 points and 5 rebounds, Giannis Gagaloudis 15 points, Ivan Aska 14 points, Darrin Govens 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Olympiacos had 6 players with two digits points but Matt Lojeski was the top scorer with 17 points. Bryant Dunston had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 fouls drawn.

Panathinaikos beat Aries Trikala for Greek League 16th day

Panathinaikos hosted and defeated Aries Trikala for Greek Basket League 16th day. Debut for Panos in this season with Aries Trikala. Panathinaikos dominated first quarter with score 22-8. Aries Trikala had 0/8 three pointers. Aries Trikala improved in the second quarter and balanced the game. In the first half Chris Evans had 10 points and 5 rebounds, while James Gist had 12 points and 5 rebounds. Aries Trikala played better in the third quarter and lowered the difference to 12 points but Panathinaikos finished the game with a good quarter and the final difference was 20 points. Chris Evans made a double double with 30 points and 12 rebounds. For Panathinaikos all twelve players scored with Mavrokefalidis scoring 13 points and James Gist had 14 points and 9 rebounds. Roko Leni Ukić scored 5 points but served 8 assists.

Panionios beat KAOD for Greek League 16th day

Panionios beat KAOD for Greek Basket League 16th day. Panionios was better for three quarters and was leading the score by 20 points in the end of the third quarter. In the last quarter Panionios blacked out and with partial score 5-19 KAOD lowered the final score to 6 points difference. For Panionios Errick McCollum scored 21 points and Marc Carter 14 points. Gaios Skordilis scored 4 points and collected 9 rebounds. For KAOD Edin Bavčić scored 15 points, Julian Vaughn had 7 points and 6 rebounds and Nikola Marković 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.

PAOK defeated Rethymno Aegean for Greek League 16th day

PAOK hosted and defeated Rethymno Aegean for Greek Basket League 16th day. Rethymno Aegean started the game more offensive than PAOK and with Kalampokis, Koumpouras and Wright took the lead. PAOK managed to counter attack and took the lead for the rest of the game. PAOK was better in three pointers, 11/20 while Rethymno Aegean had only 6/19. Giorgos Bogris had 15 points and 7 rebounds, Mark Payne 12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, and DJ Cooper 7 points and 5 assists. For Rethymno Aegean Derek Wright scored 31 points, Giannis Kalampokis 21 points and Callistus Eziukwu 20 points.

Rethymno Aegean signed Luka Drča. The 26 years old Serbian combo guard started the season in Serbia for OKK Beograd. Previously he had played for Astana, Mega Vizura and Crvena Zvezda.

Ilisiakos defeated Panelefsiniakos for Greek League 16th day

Ilisiakos defeated Panelefsiniakos for Greek Basket League 16th day. Ilisiakos' team play helped the team to finish the first quarter ahead by 6, while Panelefsiniakos had Papamakarios with 7 points. With Panagiotis Kafkis, Periklis Dorkofikis and DJ Stephens scoring 31 points together Ilisiakos broadened its lead in the half time to 12 points. Panelefsiniakos lowered the difference to 10 points in the third quarter but with poor three pointers accuracy and less rebounds than Ilisiakos could not ask more. Ilisiakos defeated Panelefsiniakos in a tight game where home team had 25/37 free throws and Panelefsiniakos 20/24. Courtney Pigram in his debut scored 16 points. Periklis Dorkofikis scored 19 points and Nikos Chatzis 14 points. DJ Stephens collected 12 rebounds and Cheikh Mbodj 10 rebounds. For Panelefsiniakos Manolis Papamakarios scored 18 points with 10/10 free throws. Rob Jones had 16 points and 8 rebounds and Larry Turner 12 points and 5 rebounds.

Diego Kapelan left Kolossos Rodou. Kapelan played only three games with Kolossos Rodou without scoring a point. The Canadian who holds a Bosnian passport was not in the coach's plans so he found a team to continue his career.

Nea Kifisia hosted and defeated Aris for Greek Basket League 16th day. Nea Kifisia with 8/8 free throws and 4/7 three pointers took an early lead and finished the first quarter with double score, 32-16. Nikos Liakopoulos had 10 points in first quarter. Aris with Alexander Vezenkov managed to lower the difference of the first half to 11 points but the team was still bad in three pointers. Nea Kifisia broadened by one point its lead in the third quarter but in the crucial last one Aris made a 9-0 run and approached in 6 points. Aris was trying to turn the game on its side but Dimitris Tsaldaris with a three pointer in the last minute gave his team 9 points lead and secured the victory. Great game for Dimitris Tsaldaris with 18 points, 4/6 three pointers. Tony Crocker scored 17 points and Michalis Kakiouzis had 8 points and 7 rebounds. For Aris Alexander Vezenkov and Giannis Athinaiou had 12 points each, with Vezenkov having 8 rebounds too.

Kolossos Rodou hosted and lost byApollon Patras for Greek Basket League 16th day. Kolossos Rodou started better and was leading the score in the whole first quarter. Apollon Patras was massive in the second quarter, with partial score 18-34. With consecutive three pointers by Petrovic, Wilson and Bolds took the lead and was creating a difference. First half finished with 1/9 three pointers for Kolossos Rodou and 7/13 for Apollon Patras. Taylor Smith had 5 rebounds and 14 points with 6/6 shots and 2/2 free throws in the first half. Apollon Patras had three players with two digits score in the first half, Roland Ross, Jeremiah Wilson and Demarius Bolds. Third quarter was a balanced one and the difference of 13 points remained for the fourth quarter. In the last quarter Kolossos Rodou counter attacked and with partial score 29-18 tried to steal the victory but lost in the end. One minute before the end the score was 82-75 for Kolossos Rodou but Apollon Patras with a 9-0 run with 6 points from  Andreja Milutinović and a three pointer for Jeremiah Wilson took a great victory. Christoforos Stefanidis missed the last three pointer shot and his team lost a game that was behind in score for more than 30 minutes but was ahead by 7 points in the last minute. Double double for Taylor Smith with 23 points, 10/11 shots, 3/5 free throws, and 12 rebounds. 24 points for Angelos Tsamis whose origin is Patras. 22 points for Demarius Bolds, 18 for Jeremiah Wilson and 15 for Andreja Milutinović, 6 of those in the last minute.

Ilisiakos signed Courtney Pigram

Ilisiakos signed Courtney Pigram. The 28 years old American replaced Kevin Anderson who left the club earlier this week. Pigram played in Spain for BC Andorra and then in China for Heilongjiang Zhaozhou Feng Shen before being drafted in the 5th round of the 2011 NBA Development League Draft by the Idaho Stampede. Earlier this season Pigram played for Phantoms Braunschweig in the German Basketball Bundesliga.

Panelefsiniakos signed Nacho (Ignacio) Ordin. The 36 years old Spanish play maker had played in Spain for León, Granada, Bruesa GBC, Breogán Lugo, Lucentum Alicante and Pau-Orthez.

Aries Trikala signed Steve Panos

Aries Trikala signed Steve Panos. The 25 years old Greek American has previously played for Kavala and Kolossos Rodou in the Greek Basket League. Panos will replace Jeremy Granger who was injured in a car accident and won't play for the rest of the season.

Justin Hurtt named MVP of 15th day

Justin Hurtt named MVP of 15th day for his performance against Kolossos Rodou. Hurtt in 36 minutes scored 30 points, 6/9 three pointers, collected 2 rebounds, served 1 assist and had 7 fouls drawn. Second day that a player of Rethymno Aegean is named MVP after first day and Gabe Pruitt.

Olympiacos hosted and defeated Ilisiakos for Greek Basket League 15th day. In the first game without its top scorer, Kevin Anderson, Ilisiakos made a suprisingly good game and was leading the game for 21 minutes. Olympiacos had to tried more in a supposingly easy game. For Olympiacos 11 players, all except young Katsivelis scored. For Ilisiakos the veteran Nikos Chatzis scored 22 points and DJ Stephens 6 points with 13 rebounds. Jamario Moon was the top scorer of Olympiacos in his first game in the League.

Apollon Patras hosted and defeated Ikaros Chalkidas for Greek Basket League 15th day. The game was tight and finally Apollon Patras got a very important victory. First quarter finished with equal score and Ikaros Chalkidas finished the half time with a lead of two points. Apollon Patras managed to balance the game in the third quarter and turn the game in the last crucial quarter. Ikaros Chalkidas had 3/23 three pointers while Apollon Patras made only 6 turnovers. Apollon Patras' captain Nikos Argyropoulos was the top scorer with 16 points. Lenny Daniel had 9 points and 12 rebounds, Jeremiah Wilson 13 points and 8 rebounds, Demarrius Bolds and Andreja Milutinović 12 points each. For Ikaros Chalkidas two players made a double double. Ivan Aska with 21 points and 13 rebounds, Dominique Sutton with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
