Ilisiakos wanted the victory in order to avoid the relegation but with a crucial mistake in the final seconds lost the game and relegated in the second division after five consecutive years in the Greek Basket League. Ilisiakos signed Courtney Pigram

Ilisiakos signed Courtney Pigram. The 28 years old American replaced Kevin Anderson who left the club earlier this week. Pigram played in Spain for BC Andorra and then in China for Heilongjiang Zhaozhou Feng Shen before being drafted in the 5th round of the 2011 NBA Development League Draft by the Idaho Stampede. Earlier this season Pigram played for Phantoms Braunschweig in the German Basketball Bundesliga.
