PAOK beat Nea Kifisia for Basket League twenty third day

PAOK beat Nea Kifisia for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty third day. With this victory PAOK got advantage of finishing in the third place and Nea Kifisia avoid relegation but will finish in the last places. Nea Kifisia made 20 turnovers. For the winners Marc Carter had 18 points, Julian Vaughn had 11 points and 8 rebounds, Apollon Tsochlas had 15 points and 8 assists. For Nea Kifisia Xavier Silas had 14 points and 5 rebounds, Nikola Pesakovic collected 7 rebounds and Uros Duvnjak served 4 assists.

PAOK beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty first day. PAOK started with a 6-0 run, Panelefsiniakos counter attacked and made the score 10-6, but that was all for the home team. PAOK with Kevin Langford created a secure difference before the half time. Langford was the leader of PAOK with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. Marc Carter and Apollon Tsochlas scored 12 points each. Jake Odum had 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 fouls drawn. Panathinaikos beat PAOK for Basket League nineteenth day

Panathinaikos hosted and beat PAOK for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 nineteenth day. PAOK started with a 9-3 run and troubled Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos balanced the game but PAOK with Kevin Langford equalized the score again in the third quarter, 39-39. Then Giankovits and Batista helped their team to create a secure difference until the end. Good game for Vlando Giankovits with 14 points and 5 assists. Nikos Pappas had 12 points, 6 assists and 3 steals, Esteban Batista had 11 points and 9 rebounds, Fotsis with 3 three pointers contributed 11 points and DeMarcus Nelson had 12 points. For PAOK Kevin Langford had 15 points and 6 rebounds, Marc Carter had 17 points and 8 rebounds, Dimitris Charitopoulos scored 10 points and collected 6 rebounds, and Tsochlas scored 10 points with 2 three pointers. Panathinaikos played conservative and smart making only 8 turnovers and having 21 assists.

PAOK beat Panionios for Basket League eighteenth day

PAOK hosted and beat Panionios for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 eighteenth day. PAOK started with an 11-3 run and Julian Vaughn scored 10 points before the first quarter. William Coleman made a double double with 20 points and 12 rebounds but Panionios was not good. Yaroslav Korolev had 10 points with 2/11 two pointers, Justin Tubbs had 1/5 three pointers and Vasilis Xanthopoulos served 6 assists but also made 4 turnovers. Very poor three points accuracy for both teams, 2/10 for PAOK and 4/18 for Panionios. For PAOK Julian Vaughn had 13 points and 12 rebounds, Kevin Langford had 15 points Jake Odum served 4 assists and had 6 fouls drawn. Kevin Langford, Marc Carter, Dimitris Charitopoulos and Christos Saloustros collected 6 rebounds each. PAOK returned to victories and Panionios will not avoid relegation.

Aris beat PAOK for Basket League fifteenth day

Aris beat PAOK for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 fifteenth day.  Aris beat PAOK in its home and now is only one point behind. PAOK was leading the score only in the first quarter but Aris took the lead before the half time and kept it until the end. For PAOK Marc Carter had 21 points but with 3/11 three pointers, and Vangelis Margaritis had 11 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Julian Vaughn made a double double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. For Aris Aleksandar Vezenkov had a massive game with 29 points, 5/10 three pointers, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and only 1 turnover. Drew Naymick has 10 rebounds and 7 points, Pasalic and Reed has 11 points each. PAOK made only 7 total turnovers but had 8/30 three pointers and 17/26 free throws. Great victory for Aris against its greatest rival.

PAOK beat Ventspils for Eurocup ninth day

PAOK hosted and beat Ventspils for Eurocup 2014-2015 ninth day. With its fifth victory and the first after three consecutive defeats PAOK qualified to Eurocup round of 32. For PAOK Kevin Langford had 15 points, Marc Carter had 13 points and 4 rebounds, Kostas Kakaroudis and Apollon Tsochlas had 10 points each. JR Bremer scored two points. For Ventspils Davis Lajesmeiers had 17 points with 3/3 three pointers, Akselis Vairogs had 10 points and Mire Chatman had 10 points.

PAOK beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League eighth day

PAOK hosted Panelefsiniakos for Basket League eighth day. Both teams played without their captains, since both Kostas Charalampidis and Dimos Avramidis were injured. With Julian Vaughn having 13 points and 4 rebounds in the first quarter PAOK finished the first quarter leading by 2 points. In the second quarter Panelefsiniakos balanced the score, 26-26, and finished the first half leading by 6 points, 31-37. In the second half PAOK improved in three pointers and with Julian Vaughn and Marc Carter took the lead in the third quarter and kept in until the end. For the winners Julian Vauhgn made a double double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Marc Carter had 17 points and Jake Odum had 10 points. For Panelefsiniakos Nikola Markovic had 15 points, Frank Robinson had 10 points, Ned Cox had 9 points and Stelios Ioannou had 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Olympiacos hosted and beat PAOK for Basket League seventh day. PAOK was undefeated in the league but Olympiacos did not face any problems to beat the visitors and was leading the score for 40 minutes with ease. The captain Vasilis Spanoulis had 15 points and 5 assists. Tremmell Darden had 11 points, 8 rebounds and Dimitris Agravanis had 11 points. For PAOK Kostas Charalampidis had 12 points and Marc Carter had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Olympiacos had 10/24 three pointers while PAOK had 5/17 three pointers.

PAOK beat Budućnost for Eurocup fifth day

PAOK hosted and beat Budućnost Voli Podgorica for Eurocup fifth day. Budućnost took an early lead with 9-7 but PAOK made a 13-0 run and did not lose the scoring lead again in the game. Julian Vaughn had 16 points and 7 rebounds, Kevin Langford had 11 points and 8 rebounds, Marc Carter had 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. For Budućnost William Sheehey had 15 points, Cedomir Vitkovic had 11 points and Aleksandar Chapin had 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. PAOK with 4 victories in 5 games is in now in the second place of Eurocup Group F.

PAOK beat Ventspils for Eurocup fourth round

PAOK beat Ventspils for Eurocup fourth round. Marc Carter with 11 points led PAOK in the first quarter that finished with score 12-19. In the second quarter Ventspils balanced the game and the first half finished with equal score, 30-30. In the third quarter the home team took the lead by 44-41 but PAOK managed to counter attack and even lead by 8 points, 49-57. In the end a steal by Odum, free throws by Charalampidis and three pointers by Tsochlas and Landford gave PAOK the second away victory. For Ventspils Troy Barnies had 13 points and 8 rebounds, Akselis Vairogs had 15 points, Mire Chatman had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. For PAOK Kevin Langford had 7 points and 7 rebounds, Marc Carter had 17 points and 9 rebounds, Julian Vaughn had 14 points and 7 rebounds.

PAOK beat KAOD for Basket League third day

PAOK beat KAOD in Drama for Basket League third day. KAOD is usually troubling PAOK in Drama but this time the team of Soulis Markopoulos managed to win a tough game in the end. Carter who had 18 points made a crucial block in the end on Diamantis Slaftsakis and secured the victory. For KAOD Thodoris Zaras had 18 points and Rod Odom had 8 points and 8 rebounds. For PAOK, besides Carter, Kostas Charalampidis had 16 points, Apollon Tsochlas had 14 points and Christos Saloustros had 7 rebounds.

PAOK beat Pınar Karşıyaka for Eurocup

Pınar Karşıyaka hosted and lost by PAOK for Eurocup 2014-2015 day one. Jake Odum was the key player of the first quarter with one unsportsmanlike foul and five consecutive points. In the second quarter PAOK scored only 7 points and Karşıyaka took the lead in score. The home team managed to keep the difference in the third quarter and in the fourth PAOK started to attack only with three pointers which let Karşıyaka expand the difference to nine points, 60-51. PAOK counter attacked in the end and tried to steal the game. Kostas Charalampidis with two free throws and Julian Vaughn with a steal and lay up made the score 65-64 with only 15 seconds remaining. Bobby Dixon missed two free throws but took the rebound and Jake Odum made his fifth foul. Dixon scored only one out of two free throws, Marc Carter took the rebound and with two free throws equalized the score, 66-66. Pınar Karşıyaka got a time out with 2.9 second remaining. Dixon could not score and the game went to extra time. Juan Palacios and Bobby Dixon had 21 points each at the normal time. For PAOK Jake Odum had 22 points but could not play in the extra time due to five commited fouls. In the extra time Kevin Langford missed two free throws and Kostas Charalampidis a three pointer which gave the home team the lead in score. One minute before the end of extra time PAOK with Marc Carter took the lead in score with 71-73. Hersek Baris equalized the score, 73-73 with 18 seconds left for PAOK. Langford didn't score and the game went to second extra time! In the second extra time Julian Vaughn, Kostas Charalampidis and Keving Langford led PAOK to a great and tough victory.

PAOK beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League first day

PAOK hosted and defeated Rethymno Aegean for Basket League first day. In a very tight game, that needed an extra time in order to have a winner, PAOK beat Rethymno Aegean with its new players Marc Carter and Julian Vaughn. Marc Carter had 19 points, Julian Vaughn had 15 points and 6 rebounds and Christos Saloustros had 11 points. For Rethymno Aegean Chaisson Allen had 16 points and 7 rebounds, Trevis Simpson had 15 points and 8 rebounds, Roeland Schaftenaar had 15 points and 5 rebounds, Mouhammad Faye had 12 points and 7 rebounds.

PAOK hosted and beat KAOD for Greek Cup. Without facing problems PAOK won KAOD and qualified to the next round of the Greek Cup. For the winners Marc Carter had 17 points, Julian Vaughn 13 points and Jake Odum and Christos Saloustros 10 points each.

PAOK signed Marc Carter. PAOK will be the third team in Greece that Carter plays for, after Rethymno Aegean and Panionios. With Panionios Carter played 34 games in the previous season and had 9.35 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Panionios won KAOD for Greek League Play Offs

Panionios won and eliminated KAOD for Greek League Play Offs round one. Marc Carter scored 27 points with 7/13 three pointers and Errick McCollum had 20 points and 7 rebounds. For KAOD J'Covan Brown had 18 points and 6 assists, Nikola Markovic had 12 rebounds and 7 assists, Julian Vaughn had 13 points and 9 rebounds. Panionios doubled its victories against KAOD since it had more players of quality and qualified to the next round of the play offs.

Panionios beat Ikaros Chalkidas for Greek League 21st day

Panionios hosted and defeated Ikaros Chalkidas for Greek Basket League 21st day. Panionios won the first game between the two teams and also have won both games in the previous season. Panionios dominated the first quarter when took a lead of 16 points and the first half the difference was at twenty points. Ikaros Chalkidas with 1/11 three pointers and 8 turnovers in first half couldn't ask for more. The difference was getting bigger each quarter and the final difference was 35 points for Panionios. Ikaros Chalkidas finished the game with 1/16 three pointers, 15 turnovers and 11/23 free throws. Panionios had 5 players with two digits score and 11 players scoring. Errick McCollum had 15 points, Marc Carter 13 points and 5 rebounds, Vassilis Simtsak 9 points and 9 rebounds. For Ikaros Chalkidas Dominique Sutton made a double double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Ivan Aska added 12 more points and 3 rebounds.
