AEK sign Mike Green. The 32 years old American guard penned an one year contract. Green graduated from Butler and went undrafted in the 2008 NBA Draft. Green started his professional career in Turkey with Antalya BB. He has also played in Belgium for Liège, in Italy for Bennet Cantù, Sigma Barcellona, Cimberio Varese, and Umana Reyer Venezia, in Russia for Khimki, in France for Paris-Levallois, and in the last season he returned to Turkey for Best Balıkesir and Pınar Karşıyaka. In 39 games with Pınar Karşıyaka Green averaged 14.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.5 steals in 34 minutes per game.

PAOK sign Kevin Dillard. The 27 years old American guard joined Apollon Patras in the previous season and had a good season until he was find positive in a doping control. In 2017 Dillard played in Belgium for Antwerp Giants, in Turkey for Pınar Karşıyaka, in New Zealand for the New Zealand Breakers, and in Israel for Maccabi Ashdod.

Kenny Gabriel renews with Panathinaikos

Kenny Gabriel renews with Panathinaikos. The 28 years old American forward penned his first contract with the Greens in November 2016. Gabriel played 21 games with Panathinaikos for the Basket League Greece, averaging 6.57 points and 3.33 rebounds per game (8 ppg / 4.46 rpg at the regular season). In 2013 Gabriel penned a two years contract with Rethymno. In his first season in Greece he averaged 12.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, finishing first in rebounds and fifth in ranking in the regular season. Gabriel finished the season with 10 double doubles and he was named twice MVP of the day. In the next season Gabriel moved to Turkey for Pinar Karsiyaka, where he won the Turkish Championship in his first season. In the last season Gabriel averaged 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds with Pinar Karsiyaka in Euroleague.

Panathinaikos sign Kenny Gabriel until the end of the season. The 27 years old American returns to Greece, after three seasons. Gabriel graduated from Auburn, where he played college basketball with the Auburn Tigers. In his last season Gabriel averaged 12.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Gabriel started his professional career in Israel with Maccabi Ashdod, and continued in Cyprus with AEL, and in New Zealand with Taranaki MA. In 2013 Gabriel penned a two years contract with Rethymno. In his first season in Greece he averaged 12.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, finishing first in rebounds and fifth in ranking in the regular season. AEK waived Josh Owens

AEK waived Josh Owens. The 27 years old American penned a contract with AEK in June 2016, but was waived by the club on October 10th 2016. Owens played two official games with AEK, one for the Cup (4p) and one for the League (2p). Owens agreed terms to continue his career in Turkey with Pınar Karşıyaka. AEK replaced Owens with Randal Falker.

Jawad Williams agreed terms with AEK

Jawad Williams agreed terms with AEK. The 33 years old American forward graduated from North Carolina and was not selected in the 2005 NBA Draft.  Williams started his career in Spain for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, continued in the NBA Development League for Fayetteville Patriots and Anaheim Arsenal, in Japan for Rera Kamuy Hokkaido, Israel for Hapoel Galil Elyon, and back to NBA D-League for Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He played three years for Hapoel Jerusalem and two years for Pınar Karşıyaka. In the last season he played in Turkey for Royal Halı Gaziantep. He has played in the NBA for Cleveland Cavaliers in 2008-2009.

Kavala signed Leon Williams

Kavala signed Leon Williams. The 29 years old Belizean - American center graduated from Ohio where he played for Ohio Bobcats. Williams started his professional career in Turkey for Pınar Karşıyaka and also played for Erdemir, being the top rebounder of the Turkish League. He then played in the second division of Spain for Cáceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad. In the least three years Williams was playing in the Korean League for Goyang Orions and in Puerto Rico for Cangrejeros de Santurce, alternating between the two leagues.

Nick Galis Cup 2015 dates and teams

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar is the third team that will participate in the Nick Galis Cup 2015. The international friendly tournament will take place in Thessaloniki on 26th and 27th September 2015. Besides Lokomotiv and the host team Aris, Pınar Karşıyaka and Olimpija Ljubljana will participate in the tournament.

Olympiacos signed DJ Strawberry

Olympiacos signed Darryl Eugene "D. J." Strawberry Jr. This was the first transfer for the Greek Champions for the season 2015-2016. The 30 years old American guard was no 59 pick in the second round of 2007 NBA Draft. In the previous season Strawberry won the Turkish Championship with  Pınar Karşıyaka. Besides NBA and Turkey he had played in Israel, Croatia, Puerto Rico and France.

Pınar Karşıyaka beat PAOK in Thessaloniki for Eurocup sixth day

Pınar Karşıyaka beat PAOK in Thessaloniki for Eurocup sixth day and equalized the defeat in Izmir in the first round game. PAOK was leading the score in first quarters. The game was interrupted at 32-25 for due to fans holding an insulting banner and later while the score was 66-60 Karşıyaka's coach Ufuk Sarıca was sent off due to complaining but his team made an 8-0 run and took the scoring lead. Dixon made the score 70-75 on 38th minute when the game was once more interrupted by the referees and the final score was 74-79 for the visitors. For PAOK the captain Charalampidis had 18 points and 5 rebounds, Jake Odum had 10 and 6 assists. For Pınar Karşıyaka Darryl Strawberry had 23 points, Bobby Dixon had 16 points and 8 assists. PAOK had a great chance to secure the second place of the group but with only 9 points in the last quarter missed it.

PAOK beat Pınar Karşıyaka for Eurocup

Pınar Karşıyaka hosted and lost by PAOK for Eurocup 2014-2015 day one. Jake Odum was the key player of the first quarter with one unsportsmanlike foul and five consecutive points. In the second quarter PAOK scored only 7 points and Karşıyaka took the lead in score. The home team managed to keep the difference in the third quarter and in the fourth PAOK started to attack only with three pointers which let Karşıyaka expand the difference to nine points, 60-51. PAOK counter attacked in the end and tried to steal the game. Kostas Charalampidis with two free throws and Julian Vaughn with a steal and lay up made the score 65-64 with only 15 seconds remaining. Bobby Dixon missed two free throws but took the rebound and Jake Odum made his fifth foul. Dixon scored only one out of two free throws, Marc Carter took the rebound and with two free throws equalized the score, 66-66. Pınar Karşıyaka got a time out with 2.9 second remaining. Dixon could not score and the game went to extra time. Juan Palacios and Bobby Dixon had 21 points each at the normal time. For PAOK Jake Odum had 22 points but could not play in the extra time due to five commited fouls. In the extra time Kevin Langford missed two free throws and Kostas Charalampidis a three pointer which gave the home team the lead in score. One minute before the end of extra time PAOK with Marc Carter took the lead in score with 71-73. Hersek Baris equalized the score, 73-73 with 18 seconds left for PAOK. Langford didn't score and the game went to second extra time! In the second extra time Julian Vaughn, Kostas Charalampidis and Keving Langford led PAOK to a great and tough victory.

Rethymno Aegean signed Chaisson Allen. The 25 years old American guard graduated from Northeastern college. Allen had played in Croatia for Zadar, in Turkey for Karşıyaka and Israel for Galil Gilboa. In the previous season Allen played in Poland for Stabill Jezioro where he had 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
