Panathinaikos was not good at the first quarter, then managed to balance the game in the second quarter but then Diamantidis got a light injury and left the game. Without Diamantidis Panathinaikos seemed to lack that something that could help the team steal the game at the end.

Katsikaris calls for Eurobasket 2015

Fotis Katsikaris, the coach of the National Team of Greece, called the first selection of players that will form the team that will play in Eurobasket 2015.

Panathinaikos signed Nick Calathes

Panathinaikos signed Nick Calathes. The Greens announced that the Greek American penned a three years contract. Panathinaikos tried to sign Calathes a year ago, but the player stayed in the NBA. Calathes is 26 years old, member of the Greek National Team, graduate of Florida Gators and besides Panathinaikos has also played in Russia for Lokomotiv Kuban and the NBA for Memphis Grizzlies.

Panathinaikos' deadline for Calathes

Panathinaikos BC announced that the team is negotiating with Nick Calathes and the two sides reach an agreement but the player haven't signed a contract yet. The Greek champions announced that they give Calathes a deadline to reply up to Friday 27th June 2014.

Greek national team begins preparation for Eurobasket in Slovenia

The Greek national team will begin preparation for the Eurobasket in Slovenia on Wednesday 24th July in Karpenisi, Greece.

The players have passed medical exams at Metropolitan hospital in Athens, except Nick Calathes who is searching for his next team.
