Panathinaikos beat Rethymno in friendly game

Panathinaikos beat Rethymno in a friendly game that took place in Melina Merkouri hall. Panathinaikos played with Vlantimir Krisievic, Giorgos Galiotos and Kostas Papadakis who participate in the summer preparation. George Papagiannis and Vlado Giankovits scored 20 points each. For Rethymno Charis Giannopoulos had 11 points with 3 three pointers, and Trevor Releford scored 10 points.

Olympiacos beat Trikala in friendly game

Olympiacos beat Trikala in a friendly game that took place in Metsovo. Dimitris Agravanis got a light injury and did not play. For Olympiacos DJ Strawberry had 14 points and 3 assists, while Giannis Kalampokis had 13 points with 3 three pointers. For Trikala Reger Dowell and Justin Robinson scored 13 points each.

Panathinaikos results at Gomelsky Cup

Panathinaikos participated at Gomelsky Cup and finished second with one victory against Nizhny Novgorod and one defeat against CSKA Moscow. For Panathinaikos Mavrokefalidis, Bochoridis, Fotsis were not available due to injuries and Blums debuted for his new team.

Olympiacos beat Rethymno Aegean for Petros Oikonomakis friendly tournament. Olympiacos had a great day with 64% accuracy in three pointers. Rethymno Aegean had a great Faye with 15 points (4/5 three pointers), Council with 16 points and Koumpouras with 13 points (5/5 field goals). For Olympiacos Matt Lojeski had 21 points, Kostas Sloukas had 7 points and 9 assists, while Petway and Hunter dominated the rebounds.

PAOK was leading the score in the first half but Unics balanced the game and with a three pointer from Kostas Kaimakoglou the game went to extra time.

The game was tight but in the extra time Fanis Koumpouras and Dejan Kravic gave their team the victory. For Al Riyadi Ibrahim Ahmad scored 19 points, Loren Woods 16 points and Brion Rush 14 points.

CSKA Moscow beat Panathinaikos for Nikos Galis Cup. Dimitris Itoudis coached CSKA against a team that spend more than a decade, Lefteris Bochoridis returned to Alexandrio after his transfer to Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos could win the game but in the last offense CSKA scored 4 points with a goal foul and stole the victory. For CSKA Moscow Aaron Jackson had 16 points, Vitaly Fridzon had 13 points and Andrey Vorontsevich had 9 rebounds. For Panathinaikos Esteban Batista had 11 points and 6 rebounds, Nikos Pappas had 11 points and Vlantimir Giankovits had 10 points.
