Panelefsiniakos signed Vincent Simpson

Panelefsiniakos signed Vincent Simpson. The 26 years old American guard will replace Ned Cox. Simpson played in Sweden for Sodertalje, in Hungary for Körmend and in Estonia for Tartu Ulikool Rock.

PAOK beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League eighth day

PAOK hosted Panelefsiniakos for Basket League eighth day. Both teams played without their captains, since both Kostas Charalampidis and Dimos Avramidis were injured. With Julian Vaughn having 13 points and 4 rebounds in the first quarter PAOK finished the first quarter leading by 2 points. In the second quarter Panelefsiniakos balanced the score, 26-26, and finished the first half leading by 6 points, 31-37. In the second half PAOK improved in three pointers and with Julian Vaughn and Marc Carter took the lead in the third quarter and kept in until the end. For the winners Julian Vauhgn made a double double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Marc Carter had 17 points and Jake Odum had 10 points. For Panelefsiniakos Nikola Markovic had 15 points, Frank Robinson had 10 points, Ned Cox had 9 points and Stelios Ioannou had 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Aris beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League first day

Aris beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League first day. Panelefsiniakos hosted Aris but could not take advantage of its home in the second half. Panelefsiniakos had 5 players with two digits score but six players without any points. For Aris Aleksandar Vezenkov had 19 points and 8 rebounds while Spyros Mourtos made a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Torey Thomas had 18 points and Drew Naymick had 9 rebounds.

Panelefsiniakos signed Ned Cox

Panelefsiniakos signed Ned Cox. Cox graduated from Evansville where he played four years in the NCAA. In his rookie season he played in Brazil for Sorocobana de Basquete where he averaged 17.3 points and 2 assists.
