In the journalists' voting, Avdalas garnered 37.2% of the votes (16 votes), with Vangelis Zougris of Peristeri second at 23.25% (10 votes), and Bazinas third with 20.93% (9 votes).

Nikos Chougkaz and Panathinaikos have decided to go their separate ways after four years. This decision comes as Panathinaikos is well-stocked at the power forward position with players like Dinos Mitoglou, Juancho Hernangomez, and Lefteris Mantzoukas. Panathinaikos beat Rethymno in a friendly game that took place in Melina Merkouri hall. Panathinaikos played with Vlantimir Krisievic, Giorgos Galiotos and Kostas Papadakis who participate in the summer preparation. George Papagiannis and Vlado Giankovits scored 20 points each. Nikos Pappas renews with Panathinaikos

Nikos Pappas renewed his contract with Panathinaikos until the summer of 2018. The team announced the renewal before the second game against CSKA Moscow in Athens.

Panathinaikos won the Greek Basketball Cup 2014-2015 by winning Apollon Patras in the Final. It is the 16th in total and 4th consecutive cup for the Greens, the team with the most Cups and Cup Finals. For Apollon Patras this was its second Cup Final, after another defeat by Olympiacos in 1997. That was the first year that OAKA hosted the Cup Final and today was the fourth time after 1997, 2001, and 2007. Loukas Mavrokefalidis was named MVP of the Final.

Panathinaikos beat Apollon Patras in OAKA, Athens, for the Greek Basketball Cup Final 2014-2015. For Apollon Oji debuted. Apollon had 1/7 three pointers in the first quarter. Panathinaikos finished the first half with 19 points lead and 8 players with score, while for Apollon only four players have scored and the team had 1/12 three pointers. This is a new record of lowest allowance in a Cup Final, previous was 21 points in 1999 Cup Final PAOK-AEK 34-21.
