Panathinaikos beat Apollon Patras for the Cup Final

Panathinaikos beat Apollon Patras in OAKA, Athens, for the Greek Basketball Cup Final 2014-2015. For Apollon Oji debuted. Apollon had 1/7 three pointers in the first quarter. Panathinaikos finished the first half with 19 points lead and 8 players with score, while for Apollon only four players have scored and the team had 1/12 three pointers. This is a new record of lowest allowance in a Cup Final, previous was 21 points in 1999 Cup Final PAOK-AEK 34-21. Loukas Mavrokefalidis became the first player to reach two digits score and Panathinaikos expanded its lead in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter Apollon improved with Fitzpatrick scoring. In the end of the fourth quarter Panathinaikos played with five young Greeks, its new generation: Lountzis (16 years old), Bochoridis (21), Charalampopoulos (18), Giankovits (25) and Diamantakos (20). For Apollon Toarlyn Fitzpatrick made a double double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. For Panathinaikos eleven players scored, all expect Lountzis. Loukas Mavrokefalidis was named MVP of the Final.
