Olympiacos beat KAOD for Basket League twenty first day

Olympiacos hosted and beat KAOD for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty first day. Without Vasilis Spanoulis Olympiacos faced problems against KAOD. Rod Odom, Thodoris Zaras and Eric Atkins scored, Manolis Papamakarios served 5 assists, Guy-Marc Michel collected 6 rebounds. For the winners Matt Lojeski had 13 points and 6 assists, Giorgos Printezis collected 6 rebounds and scored 10 points, and Oliver Lafayette scored 11 points. Olympiacos collected just 24 rebounds in total but made only 9 turnovers while KAOD made 22 turnovers (Zaras made 7 turnovers).

Olympiacos beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League sixth day

Olympiacos beat Rethymno Aegean in Rethymno for Basket League sixth day. The coach of Olympiacos Giannis Sfairopoulos was not at his bench due to illness. Olympiacos started the game with a 9-0 run but Rethymno managed to be competitive up to the end. The second and third quarters finished with the score difference below three points but in the fourth quarter Olympiacos allowed Rethymno to score only 5 points and won the game. Rethymno was poor at three pointers, 2/22 shots. For Olympiacos Bryant Dunston and Oliver Lafayette had 11 points each, Vangelis Mantzaris had 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, Brent Petway had 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. For Rethymno Aegean Vincent Council had 16 points, Mouhammad Faye had 13 rebounds and 7 points, Trevis Simpson had 10 points.

Olympiacos beat Rethymno for Petros Oikonomakis tournament

Olympiacos beat Rethymno Aegean for Petros Oikonomakis friendly tournament. Olympiacos had a great day with 64% accuracy in three pointers. Rethymno Aegean had a great Faye with 15 points (4/5 three pointers), Council with 16 points and Koumpouras with 13 points (5/5 field goals). For Olympiacos Matt Lojeski had 21 points, Kostas Sloukas had 7 points and 9 assists, while Petway and Hunter dominated the rebounds.

Olympiacos signed Oliver Lafayette

Olympiacos signed Oliver Lafayette for two years. The 30 years old American guard will continue his career in Greece after a year in Spain for Valencia. Lafayette made his personal records in Euroleague with Anadolu Efes in 2012 against Olympiacos with 22 points and 26 rating. With Valencia Lafayette played 40 games with 7.9 points and 4.5 assists per game in average.
