Rethymno Aegean released Trevis Simpson. The American averaged 10.2 points and 3.7 rebounds in this season, but one foreign player had to be released since the team signed Hollis.

Rethymno Aegean beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League twentieth day

Rethymno Aegean hosted and beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twentieth day. Rethymno Aegean lost by Panathinaikos and Olympiacos but against Panelefsiniakos the team had better chances. With a 9-0 run in the beginning and 21-8 score in the first quarter, Rethymno dominated the game. The winners had only 4/14 three pointers and 4 offensive rebounds, but also had 25/46 two pointers and 23/31 free throws. Double double for Roeland Schaftenaar with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Vincent Council had 16 points and 7 assists, Mouhammad Faye scored 13 points and made 4 blocks, Travis Simpson scored 15 points. For Panelefsiniakos Nemaja Mitrovic had 19 points, Elijah Johnson had 7 points and 8 rebounds. Nikola Markovic made a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds but had 2/13 field goals.

Aries Trikala beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League twelfth day

Aries Trikala beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League twelfth day. Aries Trikala with Alex Harris, Justin Ingram and Slaven Čupković won where only Olympiacos has won in this season. Rethymno Aegean was leading the first half but Aries Trikala made an 11-0 run in the third quarter and took the lead of the game. Aries Trikala have to stabilize their performance since they made such great victories but lose in less difficult games. For Rethymno Aegean Giannis Kalampokis had 18 points, Trevis Simpson had 17 points and 7 rebounds, Dejan Kravis had 13 points and 8 rebounds, Fanis Koumpouras had 6 points and 6 assists. Mouhammad Faye made another double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. For the winners Alex Harris had 23 points in 21 minutes, Justin Ingram had 17 points and 6 assists, Slaven Čupković had 13 points and 5 rebounds, Steve Panos had 8 points and 9 rebounds.

Rethymno Aegean beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League tenth day

Rethymno Aegean hosted and beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League tenth day. Rethymno Aegean was third before the game and stayed in the top of the table. Kolossos Rodou had only nine players available but all of them scored and the team was leading the game in the first half. In the second half Rethymno Aegean with an 8-0 run started its counter attack until the final victory. Rethymno Aegean won a game that had 19/33 two pointers and 14/29 free throws but on the other hand Kolossos Rodou made 20 turnovers. For the winners Trevis Simpson had 12 points, Fahro Alihodzic had 12 points and 8 rebounds, Mouhammad Faye had 11 points and 8 rebounds, Vincent Council had 8 assists, 5 points and 4 rebounds. For Kolossos Rodou Jamelle Hagins had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks, Ernest Scott had 8 points and 7 rebounds, Angelos Tsamis had 7 points and 8 assists.

Rethymno Aegean beat Nea Kifisia for Basket League ninth day. Rethymno Aegean took early the lead with 8-19 and kept it until the end. Nea Kifisia's defence faced problems against Vincent council and Trevis Simpson. Rethymno Aegean made its sixth victory in nine games and have a great season until now. For Nea Kifisia Dimitris Mavroeidis had 16 points and 6 rebounds, Nikola Pešaković had 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, Nikos Liakopoulos, Dimitris Tsaldaris and Michalis Kakiouzis had 8 points each. For Rethymno Aegean Vincent Council made a double double with 22 points and 10 assists! Trevis Simpson had 14 points, Mouhammad Faye had 12 points and 8 rebounds, Dejan Kravic had 14 points and 8 rebounds.

Rethymno Aegean beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League seventh day

Panelefsiniakos hosted Rethymno Aegean for Basket League seventh day. Rethymno started better the game and took the lead in score which it preserved in the second quarter. Both teams had 3/12 three pointers in the first half. The second half was balanced with each team scoring 22 points in the third and 18 points in the fourth quarter. Rethymno Aegean had 28/48 two points shots and won a game that did not have many three pointers. For Panelefsiniakos Elijah Johnson and Giannis Athanasoulas had 12 points each. Frank Robinson had 11 points and 4 assists. For the winners Vincent Council had 22 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Dejan Kravic made a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Giannis Sinis missed it with 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Olympiacos beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League sixth day

Olympiacos beat Rethymno Aegean in Rethymno for Basket League sixth day. The coach of Olympiacos Giannis Sfairopoulos was not at his bench due to illness. Olympiacos started the game with a 9-0 run but Rethymno managed to be competitive up to the end. The second and third quarters finished with the score difference below three points but in the fourth quarter Olympiacos allowed Rethymno to score only 5 points and won the game. Rethymno was poor at three pointers, 2/22 shots. For Olympiacos Bryant Dunston and Oliver Lafayette had 11 points each, Vangelis Mantzaris had 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, Brent Petway had 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. For Rethymno Aegean Vincent Council had 16 points, Mouhammad Faye had 13 rebounds and 7 points, Trevis Simpson had 10 points.

Rethymno Aegean beat Panionios for Basket League fourth day

Rethymno Aegean hosted and beat Panionios for Basket League fourth day. Panionios with Vangelis Alexandris as its new coach was more competitive but did not celebrate its first victory and will struggle to avoid relegation. For Rethymno Aegean Roeland Schaftenaar made a double double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Fanis Koumpouras had 10 points and 5 assists. Trevis Simpson, Chaisson Allen and Mouhammed Faye had 9 points each. For Panionios Yaroslav Korolev had 14 points and 8 rebounds and the new addition Gabe Prewitt had 12 points with 4 three pointers.

Rethymno Aegean beat Korivos Amaliadas in Amaliada for Basket League third day. For Rethymno Aegean Roeland Schaftenaar scored 15 points, Trevis Simpson scored 14 points, Fanis Koumpouras served 8 assists, Mouhammad Faye scored 15 points and collected 9 rebounds, Dejan Kravic scored 11 points and collected 8 rebounds. For Korivos Amaliadas Saša Vasiljević scored 8 points but missed the last shot, Josh Magette scored 16 points and served 4 assists, Darrius Garrett scored 9 points and collected 7 rebounds. Great victory for Rethymno Aegean in Amaliada against a tough team.

Rethymno Aegean beat KAOD for Basket League second day

Rethymno Aegean hosted and defeated KAOD for Basket League second day. First quarter was bad for both team with many missed shots (4/16 field goald for each team) and low score, 9-11. The second quarter was slightly beter but still tight and in the end Rethymno Aegean with Faye and Schaftenaar created a difference of 6 points, 35-29. Allen and Schaftenaar for Rethymno finished the first half with 9 points each. The home team improved at third quarter and with Simpson and Schaftenaar expanded the difference to 9 points, 50-41. KAOD was pressing Rethymno but the home team dominated rebounds and won the game. Mouhammad Faye finished the game with a double double, 19 points and 11 rebounds. Roeland Schaftenaar had 11 points, 6 rebounds and Trevis Simpson had 13 points. For KAOD Eric Atkins had 16 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds. Rob Loe had 13 points, Thororis Zaras had 12 points and Terone Johnson 7 points and 5 assists.

PAOK beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League first day

PAOK hosted and defeated Rethymno Aegean for Basket League first day. In a very tight game, that needed an extra time in order to have a winner, PAOK beat Rethymno Aegean with its new players Marc Carter and Julian Vaughn. Marc Carter had 19 points, Julian Vaughn had 15 points and 6 rebounds and Christos Saloustros had 11 points. For Rethymno Aegean Chaisson Allen had 16 points and 7 rebounds, Trevis Simpson had 15 points and 8 rebounds, Roeland Schaftenaar had 15 points and 5 rebounds, Mouhammad Faye had 12 points and 7 rebounds.

Rethymno Aegean beat Nea Kifisia in friendly game. In another home friendly game for Nea Kifisia but this time could not win. For Rethymno Aegean Trevis Simpson scored 18 points and Giannis Sinis 20 points. For Nea Kifisia Nikos Liakopoulos scored 10 and Michalis Kakiouzis scored 12 points but all players scored.

Rethymno Aegean signed Trevis Simpson

Rethymno Aegean signed Trevis Simpson. The 23 years old American forward played three years for Greensboro Spartans in the NCAA averaging 18.7 points and 4.2 rebounds. In the previous season Simpson played for Kolossos Rodou and in 23 games he averaged 6.5 points and 2.4 rebounds.

Olympiacos defeated Kolossos Rodou for Greek Basketball League fourth day

Olympiacos defeated Kolossos Rodou in Rodos and remained undefeated in the Greek Basketball League. This was the 19th victory of Olympiacos in 19 games against Kolossos Rodou. Kolossos Rodou started the game good and in the first 8 minutes was ahead in score 22-21. Then Olympiacos made an 18-0 run and the game didn't change till the end. Trevis Simpson scored 16 points and collected 6 rebounds. Bambale Osby scored 19 points and collected 5 rebounds. For Olympiacos only Katsivelis didn't score but 5 players scored more than 10 points, Petwas, Dunston, Spanoulis, Perperoglou and Lojeski.

PAOK wins Kolossos Rodou first day Greek Basketball League

PAOK has hosted seven times Kolossos Rodou for the Greek Basketball League and had won all of them. In the previous season PAOK defeated Kolossos Rodou by 68-63 and by 67-60 in the season before, this time won by 88-81. Kostas Charalambidis scored 26 points for PAOK and Papantoniou 22 points for Kolossos Rodou. Bogris made the first double double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds. DJ Cooper scored 11 points and served 8 assists. On the contrary Kaselakis made 12 turnovers. The shock from cup elimination by Aris is already past for PAOK with the first victory in the Basketball League.

Kolossos Rodou signed rookie Trevis Simpson. Simpson, 22 years old guard, played for three years in NCAA with UNC Greensboro Spartans having an average of 18.1 points per game. Kolossos Rodou signed Simpson for his scoring skills.
