Yaroslav Korolev came to Greece in October 2014 to help Panionios avoid relegation. Although his team was relegated the performance of Korolev helped him continue in Greece with Rethymno Cretan Kings. The 28 years old Russian played 21 games with Panionios averaging 12.9 points, 6 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

AEK beat Panionios for Basket League 2014-2015 fifteenth day. AEK beat Panionios in Nea Smyrni after 11 years but Panionios played without Tapoutos and Hancock. With five players scoring more than 10 points each, AEK did not face problems against Panionios. Pops Mensah-Bonsu had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 11 fouls drawn. Malik Hairston had 19 points, 4 rebounds and 9 fouls drawn. Carl English had 20 points and 5 assists. Apollon Patras beat Panionios for Basket League twelfth day. After the Greek Cup Apollon Patras made its first road victory against Panionios in Nea Smyrni. For Panionios only William Coleman with 22 points and 14 rebounds, Dimitris Verginis with 17 points and 7 assists and Yaroslav Korolev with 11 points and 9 rebounds were not enough. For the winners Gaios Skordilis made another double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds against his previous team. Muhammad El-Amin and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick scored 13 points each, Giannis Georgalis scored 12 points and Kevin Galloway served 7 assists.

Panelefsiniakos hosted Panionios for Basket League eleventh day. Panionios seem to roll from game to game and against Panelefsiniakos started the game with 31 points in the first quarter. Yaroslav Korolev had 13 points and 5 rebounds in the first half and Vasilis Xanthopoulos 6 assists. Panelefsiniakos was lowering the difference in the second, third and fourth quarter but could not won the game and lost by two points. For Panionios two players made a double double, William Coleman had 12 points and 13 rebounds, Yaroslav Korolev had 19 points and 13 rebounds. Panathinaikos hosted and beat Panionios for Basket League ninth day. In a game with 12.000 attendance, due to 1€ enctrance fee, Panathinaikos did not face any problems against Panionios. All players of Panathinaikos played and scored from Papagiannis to Charalampopoulos and Diamantakos. Panionios hosted and beat Aris for Basket League eighth day. Luke Hancock had a massive first quarter with 5/5 field goals, 1/1 free throws and with 13 points led Panionios.Panionios kept this small lead in the whole game and beat Aris easier than expected. This was the second win in a row for Panionios, after six defeats, but it was the first against a strong opponent. For the winners Luke Hancock finished the game with 24 points, Yaroslav Korolev had 10 points and 5 rebounds, Tony Woods had 8 points and 6 rebounds, William Coleman had 6 rebounds and Vasilis Xanthopoulos had 4 assists. Panionios hosted and beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League seventh day. This was the first victory for Panionios in Basket League 2014-2015 after six defeats! Korivos started the game with a 5-14 run and finished first half leading the score by four points but in the second quarter Panionios balanced the game. With a 10-2 run Panionios finished first half leading by four points with Yaroslav Korolev making another great game. Korivos approached Panionios to one point at the end of the third quarter but did not manage to win the game. The visitors collected 7 rebounds more than Panionios but also made 17 turnovers. KAOD hosted and beat Panionios for Basket League sixth day. Panionios had 3/12 two points shots in the first quarter and KAOD did not shoot any three pointers. Panionios improved in the second quarter and balanced the game. KAOD had 4/6 three pointers in the second quarter and Panionios had 5/5 two pointers. Yaroslav Korolev had 10 points and Tony Woods had 5 points and 5 rebounds in the first half. Panionios continue its counter attack and the third quarter finished with the visitors leading the score by 4 points. Like in the previous game against PAOK Panionios collapsed in the last quarter and the team of KAOD won by 11 points. Panionios was about to make its first victory and led the score 55-52 two minutes before the end but PAOK was more focused with an 8-0 run made the score 55-60. Panionios with Vangelis Alexandris as its new coach was more competitive but did not celebrate its first victory and will struggle to avoid relegation. The difference between two teams skyrocketed the difference to 38 points in the end. For Panionios only Yaroslav Korolev had two digits score with 10 points. AEK beat Panionios for Basket League second day

AEK hosted and defeated Panionios for Basket League second day. Both teams faced financial and management problems this summer but AEK solved them earlier than Panionios who is still forming its roster. This was the first Basket League home game for AEK after the team was relegated to A2 division and the fans were waiting for it. AEK dominated the first quarter and finished it with double score plus one point, 27-13, and continued like this in the second quarter. In the first half AEK had 7/11 three pointers with David Kyles having 11 points while for Panionios only Yaroslav Korolev had 10 points. Panionios started second half with a 7-0 run and lowered the difference up to 8 points, 50-42, AEK expanded it back to two digits but with four free throws in the end Panionios finished the third quarter only seven points behing the home team. In the last quarter AEK made a 7-0 run and restored the difference to two digits score up to the end. AEK made its first victory for the Basket League 2014-2015 and Panionios doubled its defeats. For AEK Dusan Sakota scored 18 points, David Kyles and Leonidas Kaselakis scored 11 points each while Zisis Sarikopoulos collected 10 rebounds and scored 8 points. For Panionios Vasilis Xanthopoulos scored 16 points, Yaroslav Korolev scored 15 points and collected 9 rebounds, Tony Woods scored 14 points and collected 9 rebounds.
