In a tight game Aris was following AEK for more than thirty minutes but in the end Wilbekin, Mensah-Bonsu and English gave their team a victory and covered the points difference of the first round defeat. For the winners Carl English was the top scorer with 18 points, Malik Hairston scored 16 points. Mensah-Bonsu made a double double with 16 points, 12 fouls drawn (12/17 ft), and 12 rebounds. AEK beat Apollon Patras for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 nineteenth day. Great road victory for AEK in Patras where Apollon is powerful. The first quarter finished with triple score and the second quarter with double score for AEK. Apollon had a terrible first half in accuracy with 1/14 three pointers and 5/18 two pointers. Apollon finished the first half with the same points (21) that just two players of AEK had scored: Dusan Sakota (10) and Pops Mensah-Bonsu (11). Apollon did not managed to counter attack in the second half and AEK won the game by 41 points! AEK had 15/28 three pointers while Apollon had 2/27! AEK had 15/27 three pointers with Carl English having 8/9 and Tomas Delininkaitis having 4/5. AEK scored more than 100 points in the League after nine years, Dusan Sakota completed 200 victories as coach and English set the three pointers record of the season. AEK signed Pops Mensah-Bonsu

AEK signed Pops Mensah-Bonsu. The 31 years old British had penned a contract with Olympiacos in June but the team released him after he failed the medical exams. After this Mensah-Bonsu played in Israel for Hapoel Jerusalem where he averaged 5 and 2.5 rebounds in two league game and 7.5 points and 3 rebounds in four Eurocup games.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu failed medical exams and won't play for Olympiacos as announced. Mensah-Bonsu suffered from knee and shoulder injuries that seem to create problems. Now Olympiacos has to keep searching players to form the roster for the new season.

Mensa-Bonsu has played for George Washington, Dallas Mavericks, Fort Worth Flyers, Benetton Treviso, Granada, Joventut Badalona, Austin Toros, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, CSKA Moscow, New Orleans Hornets, ASVEL,  Beşiktaş Milangaz, CB Sevilla, Emporio Armani Milano and Galatasaray Liv. Mensa-Bonsu had a fight with Mirza Begić and Giorgos Printezis in a Euroleague game between Galatasaray Liv Hospital and Olympiacos, but now they be in the same team.
