Kevin Anderson left Apollon Patras

Kevin Anderson and Apollon Patras parted ways and the American will continue his career in Cyprus. Anderson played only 5 games with Apollon for the Basket League Greece, averaging 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. In his new team, Enosi Paralimniou, Anderson will meet another ex-Apollon player Amin Hot.

Apollon Patras agreed terms with Kevin Anderson. The 27 years old American guard returns to Basket League Greece to replace Kevin Dillard. Anderson had played for Ilisiakos in 2013-2014 season averaging 14.3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 14 games but was released since the team did not avoid relegation. Apollon will be the third Greek team for Anderson since he has also played for Kifisia in 2014-2015 season. Anderson started this season in Luxembourg for  Sparta Bertange averaging 20.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

Apollon Patras released Kevin Dillard

Apollon Patras released Kevin Dillard. The 26 years old American guard added quality to the game of Apollon since he joined the team but was found positive in doping control and the team released him. Dillard played 8 games with Apollon in Basket League Greece 2015-2016 averaging 19.25 points, 4.63 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 6.5 fouls won in 29 minutes per game. In his debut game against Kifisia he scored 28 points. Apollon agreed terms with Kevin Anderson to replace Dillard.

*Update: Dillard got a two months penalty and will continue with the team after March 3rd 2016.

AEK beat Nea Kifisia for Basket League twentieth day. AEK continued the perfect games and against Nea Kifisia had 27 team assists, 25/41 two pointers and total ranking 124 points. Pops Mensah-Bonsu had 21 points and 7 rebounds, Dusan Sakota had 16 points and 6 assists, Malik Hairston had 12 points and 6 assists. For Nea Kifisia Uros Duvnjak had 17 points, Dimitris Mavroeidis had 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Nea Kifisia had 8/24 three pointers.

Nea Kifisia signed Kevind Anderson. The 27 years old American returns to Greece since he played for Ilisiakos in the previous season and he was named MVP of the eleventh and thirteenth day. Ilisiakos released the player in January 2014 after 14 games that he averaged 14.3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game. Anderson will replace Nikos Liakopoulos who is injured, but he remains in the club.

Ilisiakos released Kevin Anderson. A certain loss for Ilisiakos since the team is in the last place of the league and is now losing the 5th scorer of the league. Anderson played 14 games with Ilisiakos and had 14,3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game in average. Anderson was named twice MVP of the day in the Greek League, in the 11th day against Kolossos Rodou and 13th day against Rethymno Aegean. The American player will probably continue his career in Turkey.

Ilisiakos took the lead in score with 10-6 but then Apollon made an 11-0 run and finished the first quarter ahead by 10 points. In the second quarter it was Ilisiakos' turn to make an 8-0 run and lower the difference of the first half to 4 points. Ilisiakos lowered the difference to two points, in the beginning of the second half, but Apollon Patras replied and the difference reached 16 points, 41-57. Apollon Patras blacked out and Ilisiakos made a 13-0 run with Antonakis, Chatzis and Anderson. In the last quarter Ilisiakos equalized the score two times but Apollon Patras with two three pointers by Wilson and Bolds was keeping the lead. Great victory for Apollon Patras that had 11/24 three pointers. Ilisiakos was bad in three pointers 5/23 but had 24/28 free throws and 43 rebounds. Cheikh Mbodj made his first double double with 13 points (9/12 free throws) and 14 rebounds. Kevin Anderson had 24 points and 6 rebounds. For Apollon Patras Jeremiah Wilson had 17 points. Demarius Bolds 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The new players of Apollon Patras were good with Roland Ross having 15 points, 5 assists and Andreja Milutinović 7 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

Kevin Anderson named MVP of Greek Basket League 13th day. Anderson played 29 minutes with Ilisiakos against Rethymno Aegean. In 29 minutes he scored 29 points with 10/10 free throws, 5/6 two pointers and 3/5 three pointers. Anderson collected 1 rebound, gave 3 assists, had 5 fouls drawn and made only 1 turnover. His performance was rated with 31 points in the raking system of Greek League. This is the second time Kevind Anderson is named MVP of the day in the Greek League, after 11th day where he was named again MVP of the day for the game against Kolossos Rodou. Seems like Anderson plays better against teams from islands.

Ilisiakos hosted and defeated Rethymno Aegean for Greek Basket League thirteenth day. Rethymno Aegean was better in the first half and finished it with a small lead of 3 points. Ilisiakos counter attacked in the second quarter and finished the half time ahead by 11 points. Second half started and finished like the first half did. Rethymno Aegean dominated the third quarter and took the lead in score again with 54-59. In the last quarter the home team was massive, scoring 32 points and let Rethmyno Aegean score only 13 points. Ilisiakos reversed the score two times and won the game by 14 points. Very tight game with Ilisiakos shooting 42 free throws and scoring 32 of them. Nikos Chatzis had a great game with 20 points, 3 assists and 6 fouls drawn in 18 minutes. DJ Stephens made a double double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Kevin Anderson was the top scorer of Ilisiakos with 29 points, 10/10 free throws, 5/6 two pointers and 3/5 three pointers. For Rethmyno Aegean Derek Wright was the top scored with 22 points, 5/5 free throws, 4/4 two pointers and 3/4 three pointers. Justin Hurtt scored 21 points but had many shots, 7/14 free throws, 4/12 two pointers and 2/5 three pointers. Kenny Gabriel made another double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Aris hosted and defeated Ilisiakos for Greek Basketball League ninth day. The first two quarters were balanced and the first half ended with Aris having a small lead of three points. In the third quarter Athinaiou and Pelekanos broaden the difference to 15 points for Aris. Ilisiakos had 1/11 three pointers and couldn't expect to follow the score till the end. The fourth quarter didn't change the difference of the third quarter and Aris won the game. Michalis Pelekanos made a double double in the game with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Aleksander Vezenkov had 10 points and 8 rebounds. For Ilisiakos DJ Stephens finished the game without scoring while Mbodj and Anderson scored 15 points each.

Panathinaikos defeated Iisiakos for Greek Basketball League eighth day. Panathinaikos didn't face many problems against Ilisiakos since DJ Stephens was alone in scoring for the home team and finished the game with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Vlantimir Giankovits scored 19 points and Mike Batiste scored 14 points without missing any shot, 7/7 shots. Panathinaikos had 6/22 three pointers but 23/27 two pointers. Panathinaikos' captain Dimitris Diamantidis played only 13 minutes, an easy game to relax before crucial Euroleague game.

Panionios hosted and defeated Ilisiakos for Greek League seventh day. Ilisiakos started better and took the lead. First quarter finished with Ilisiakos ahead by 5, 18-23, same in the second quarter, 32-37. Ilisiakos was keeping the victory for 33 minutes but then Panionios counter attacked and won the game in the end. Ilisiakos scored only 8 points in the last quarter and gave Panionios a difficult victory. McCollum was once again the leader of Panionios with 29 points and 33 in the ranking system. DJ Stephens scored 15 points and collected 8 rebounds.

Ilisiakos hosted Nea Kifisia in a game where the winner would leave the loser last in the table. The veteran Nikos Barlos helped his team took the lead in the first quarter, where Nea Kifisia was ahead with 18-26. DJ Stephens and Petrodimopoulos scored in the second quarter and the first half finished with the two teams close in score, 37-39. Third quarter was competitive as well and the score remained balanced. Ilisiakos with Kevin Anderson scoring better in the last quarter, turned the game upside down and finally won it by 6 points, 71-65. Great come back for Ilisiakos in a crucial home game. Tony Crocker and Tony Woods both finished the game with a double double, 11 points and 10 rebounds for Crocker, 14 points and 11 rebounds for Woods.

Panelefsiniakos hosted Ilisiakos for the third day of the Greek Basketball League. Panelefsiniakos had 4/6 three pointers in the first quarter which balanced the 5/19 two pointers and give it the lead with 24-16. The score didn't change since Panelefsiniakos finished the game with 11/22 three pointers while Ilisiakos had 3/22. Panelefsiniakos also dominated rebounds with 49 total. Rob Jones finished the game with a double double, 15 points and 11 rebounds. Mouhammad Faye scored 9 points and collected 11 rebounds, close to double double. Manolis Papamakarios served 7 assists, Raley Ross scored 13 points. For Ilisiakos Kevin Anderson scored 21 points and DJ Stephens 14 points.

Olympiacos defeats Ilisiakos for Basketball League

Ilisiakos hosted and lost by Olympiacos by 57-78. Olympiacos started the game after two consecutive wins so the first quarter finished with a clear lead of 11 points, 12-23. Ilisiakos balanced the game at second quarter and the half time ended with 25-36. Second half started with a counter attack from Ilisiakos and the difference at the end of third quarter was 7 points, 44-51. In the last quarter Olympiacos managed to keep the difference above 10 points. Olympiacos scored 10 three pointers and left no chances nor hope to Ilisiakos. Final result 57-78. Nikos Chatzis tried with 16 points but was trying alone. For Olympiacos Matt Lojeski scored 21 points, collected 8 rebounds and made just 2 turnovers. Only Papapetrou didn't score for Olympiacos and Spanoulis scored 3 points in 20 minutes.

Ilisiakos signs Kevin Anderson

Ilisiakos signed Kevin Anderson. The 24 years old American play maker played 9 games with Cantu in Italy in the previous season and has also played for Sam Massagno in Switzerland and for Strasbourg in France. Anderson graduated from Richmond college. Anderson is the second graduate of Richmond that has played in Switzerland and will play in Greece this season, after Darrius Garrett of Nea Kifisia.
