Apollon Patras released Kevin Dillard

Apollon Patras released Kevin Dillard. The 26 years old American guard added quality to the game of Apollon since he joined the team but was found positive in doping control and the team released him. Dillard played 8 games with Apollon in Basket League Greece 2015-2016 averaging 19.25 points, 4.63 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 6.5 fouls won in 29 minutes per game. In his debut game against Kifisia he scored 28 points. Apollon agreed terms with Kevin Anderson to replace Dillard.

*Update: Dillard got a two months penalty and will continue with the team after March 3rd 2016.

Dopping control for 4 Olympiacos players

ESKAN, the Greek anti-doping authority, took sample from four Olympiacos' players before the game against Galatasaray for Euroleague.  The four players are Kostas Sloukas, Vangelis Mantzaris, Stratos Perperoglou and Mirza Begić.

Doping control for the Greek national team

The Greek national team had a scheduled doping control as requested by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK). The doping control took place at OAKA where the team is training and is the annual control which is requested by the HBF (EOK).
