Milan Milošević renews with AEK

Milan Milošević renews with AEK. The 29 years old Bosnian forward came to AEK in the previous season and will continue with the club in the Basket League Greece 2015-2016. Milošević averaged 6.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in the previous season.

Kifisia signed Leonidas Kaselakis

Kifisia signed Leonidas Kaselakis. The 25 years old Greek forward will continue in Basket League Greece with Kifisia, after having played for AEK, PAOK and Ilisiakos. In the previous season Kaselakis played 21 games with AEK averaging 3.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

AEK signed Scottie Wilbekin

AEK signed Scottie Wilbekin. The 21 years old American guard graduated from the University of Florida where he played for the Florida Gators and led the team to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) regular season championship and the SEC Tournament title. In the summer of 2014 Wilbekin went undrafted in the 2014 NBA draft, and he joined the Memphis Grizzlies for the Orlando Summer League and the Philadelphia 76ers for the Las Vegas Summer League but was not signed and moved to NBA D-League for the Cairns Taipans.

Michalis Kamperidis renews with AEK. The Greek forward renewed his contract until 2018 but will play in Spain for Huesca until the end of season.

AEK signed Malik Hairston

AEK signed Malik Hairston. The 27 years old American guard send his signed contract and will play for AEK BC until the end of this season. Hairston graduated from Oregon University where he played for Oregon Ducks and was drafted with the 18th pick in the second round (48th overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns. He was then signed by the San Antonio Spurs, where he played 62 games but only 8 minutes per game on average, so he moved to Italy for Montepaschi Siena and then for Emporio Armani Milano. In the previous season he played for Galatasary Liv in Turkey and Euroleague.

AEK signed Pops Mensah-Bonsu

AEK signed Pops Mensah-Bonsu. The 31 years old British had penned a contract with Olympiacos in June but the team released him after he failed the medical exams. After this Mensah-Bonsu played in Israel for Hapoel Jerusalem where he averaged 5 and 2.5 rebounds in two league game and 7.5 points and 3 rebounds in four Eurocup games.

AEK released David Kyles

AEK released David Kyles. AEK signed the player on September but the new coach Dragan Šakota is not satisfied with his performance so the two sides agreed on mutual termination of his contract. Kyles played 4 games with AEK in the Basket League 2014-2015 averaging 5 points, 1.75 rebounds, 1.5 assists in 19 minutes per game.

AEK agreed terms with Rick Jackson

AEK signed Rick Jackson. The 25 years old center graduated from Syracuse where he played four years and then was undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. Jackson started his career in France for Chorale Roanne Basket. After a year in France he returned to USA for Austin Toros in the NBA D-League. In the previous season Jackson played in Israel for Hapoel Gilboa Galil. Jackson has also played on Team USA (Under 18) at the semi-annual Albert Schweitzer Tournament in Mannheim, Germany in 2006. One day after the agreement AEK announced that the team will not offer a contract to Jackson.

AEK signed Dragan Šakota as head coach

AEK signed Dragan Šakota as head coach. The 62 years old Greek-Serbian coach returns to AEK after 11 years. Šakota started his coaching career in Yugoslavia for IMT Beograd, Zadar and Cibona before moving to Greece for PAOK, Apollon Patras, Iraklis, Peristeri, AEK and Olympiacos. In 2005 he returned to Serbia for Red Star and after two years he moved to Italy for Fortitudo Bologna and Turkey for Trabzonspor and  Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi. In 2006, Šakota coached the Serbia and Montenegro national basketball team at the 2006 FIBA World Championship. Dragan Šakota will coach his son Dušan Šakota, who is currently the best player of AEK.

AEK and coach Vangelis Ziagkos part ways. AEK announced that Vangelis Ziagkos is no longer the coach of the team, highlighting that the cooperation ended but the door is always open for Ziagkos.

AEK signed Tomas Delininkaitis

AEK signed Tomas Delininkaitis. The 32 years experienced Lithuanian started his career in Neptunas and then moved to Lietuvos Rytas. After Lithuania Delinikaitis moved to Ukraine for Azovmash Mariupol and Budivelnyk Kyiv, in Spain for CB Murcia, in Greece for PAOK, back to Lithuania for Zalgiris Kaunas, back to Ukraine for Cherkaski Mavpy, then in Lithuania for Riga and finally Turkey for Torku Selçuk Üniversitesi. He is a member of Lithuania Mens National team. An experienced player that will help AEK.

AEK released Cashmere Wright. The American averaged 5.0 points, 2.75 assists and 2.25 rebounds in 5 games but did not satisfied Vangelis Ziagkos with his performance and the club announced the end of his contract wishing him good luck.

AEK and Vernon Goodridge part ways after only three games in the Basket League Greece 2014-2015. Goodridge averaged 2.67 points and 2 rebounds in 10 minutes per game.

AEK signed Carl Jerome English. The 33 years old Canadian guard has played in NBA D-League with Florida Flame, in Italy for Virtus Bologna, in Croatia for KK Zadar and in Spain for several teams. English is a member of the national team of Canada.

AEK agreed terms with Kevinn Pinkney

AEK agreed terms with Kevinn Pinkney. The 31 years old American forward will replace Vernon Goodridge. Pinkney is an experienced player who has played in many teams and countries around Europe but also in the Puerto Rico and the USA.

AEK signed Milan Milošević. The 29 years old Bosnian forward started his career from Hercegovac, then played for Sloboda Tuzla, Red Star Belgrade, Bosna, Keravnos in Cyprus, Budućnost Podgorica and Zlatorog Laško. With Zlatorog Laško he averaged 14.1 points and 8.6 rebounds in the previous season. Earlier this season the player had agreed terms with Panionios.

AEK signed Nontas Papantoniou

AEK signed Nontas Papantoniou. The 24 years old guard returns to AEK after four years. Papantoniou started his career in Marousi, then played in AEK for a year and then Ilisiakos, Peristeri and Kolossos Rodou. He is also a member of the Greek National 3x3 Basketball team.
