Eurocup 2015-2016 eight day results

AEK lost by Nizhny but did not lose the points' difference of the third day win. Mavrokefalidis did not play but Mavroeidis had a great game and made a double double, like Berzins and Khvostov did for Nizhny.
Aris beat Unics Kazan again, like the Greek team did in Russia. Aris collected only 23 rebounds, 1 more than Parakhouski and Kaimakoglou together, but did only 6 turnovers! Langford had a lot of pressure with 12 fouls won.
PAOK lost easily by Besiktas in Thessaloniki but beat them in Turkey in over time with a winning shot by William Hatcher.

Aris signed Dominic Waters

Aris signed Dominic Waters. The American point guard came to Greece for Kolossos Rodou in December and played 18 games averaging 12.6 points and 5.7 assists per game. Waters penned an one year contract with Aris.

Kolossos Rodou beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League twenty third day

Kolossos Rodou hosted and beat Rethymno Aegean for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty third day. Kolossos secured the sixth place with a good game from two hot prospects, Toliopoulos and Larentzakis. Impressive statistic for the winners the nine blocks they made, 4 by Taylor Smith and 3 by Jamelle Hagins. Vasilis Toliopoulos had 15 points with only missed shot, Taylor Smith collected 9 rebounds, Dominic Waters served 8 assists. For Rethymno Damian Hollis scored 13 points, Faye had 7 rebounds and 8 fouls drawn, Roeland Schaftenaar scored 10 points with only two shots missed, and Fanis Koumpouras served 4 assists.

Kolossos Rodou beat Aries Trikala in Trikala for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty second day. Kolossos Rodou had 16/25 three pointers and 20/33 two pointers. With so high shot accuracy the visitors did not let Aries Trikala any chance to lead the game nor the score. Justin Robinson had 19 points (5/6 3p), Taylor Smith had 14 points (7/9 2p). Christoforos Stefanidis served 5 assists and Dominic Waters served 7 assists. For Aries Trikala Slaven Cupkovic scored 24 points, Bryan Tracey collected 7 rebounds, Justin Ingram served 4 assists and made 4 turnovers. AEK beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League twenty first day

AEK beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League twenty first day. Scottie Wilbekin debuted with a victory but confused his teammates who have used to play with Mensa-Bonsu and English. Kolossos Rodou was leading the game and was close to win a crucial game. Malik Hairston with 19 points led his team to 15-30 partial score in the last quarter and AEK won. For the home team Dominic Waters had 16 points (4/10 2p), 6 assists and 5 rebounds, Ernest Scott had 8 points and 9 rebounds. Jamelle Hagins had 11 points and 7 rebounds but was not accurate with 4/13 field goals. For the winners Scottie Wilbekin had 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Kolosos Rodou beat Nea Kifisia for Basket League nineteenth day. In the first half Mavroeidis had 10 points and 8 rebounds for Nea Kifisia, and Stefanidis had 10 points, Manolopoulos 9 points and Waters had 6 assists for the visitors. Nea Kifisia had 2/10 three pointers in the first half. Kolossos kept the scoring lead in the whole game and in the end expanded the difference to eleven points. Nea Kifisia collected 14 rebounds more but also had 4/19 three pointers, while Kolossos had 12/28 three pointers and 6 turnovers less (17-11). For the winners Dominic Waters made a double double with 15 points and 11 assists. For Kifisia Dimitris Mavroeidis made a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kolossos Rodou beat Apollon Patras for Basket League eighteenth day

Kolossos Rodou hosted and beat Apollon Patras for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 eighteenth day. Kolossos celebrated its 100th victory win the League with three free throws by Dominic Waters. The game was bad and tight, but Apollon Patras had a good chance to win it. Brandon Penn missed one free throw, Nikos Argyropoulos missed two free throws and Marios Batis made a foul on Waters while he was attempting a buzzer beater three pointer. Waters was bad in the whole game but with 3/3 free throws gave his team a crucial victory. For the winners Giannoulis Larentzakis made a double double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Jamelle Hagins scored 15 points and Justin Robinson scored 7 points. Dominic Waters served 6 assists, made 5 turnovers, had 1/12 field goals but scored the crucial free throws. For Apollon Patras Toarlyn Fitzpatrick made a double double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Olympiacos beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 sixteenth day. Olympiacos remained undefeated in Rhodes island with its captain Vasilis Spanoulis in a good day. Spanoulis scored 20 points, Darden added 14 points, Sloukas served 6 assists. For Kolossos Larentzakis, Scott and Hagins scored 10 points each. Dominic Waters had 9 points, 5 assists, and Taylor Smith made 5 blocks. Olympiacos had 13/27 three pointers.

Panathinaikos beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League fifteenth day

Panathinaikos hosted and beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League 2014-2015 fifteenth day. Kolossos surprised Panathinaikos and the visitors were leading the score in the first quarter. Diamantidis entered the court and with his eight assists organized the counter attack. AJ Slaughter with 3 three pointers created a difference for Panathinaikos but in the end the youngsters Bochoridis, Koniaris, Charalampopoulos and Diamantakos secured the victory. For the winners Esteban Batista had 17 points, Dimitris Diamantidis had 9 points and 8 assists, Vlantimir Giankovits had 7 rebounds and 4 assists, and Vasilis Charalampopoulos made 4 steals. Panathinaikos made only 8 team turnovers while Kolossos made 17 in total. For Kolossos Dominic Waters had 15 points and 6 assists, Taylor Smith had 8 rebounds, Giannoulis Larentzakis had 13 points and 5 assists.

Kolossos Rodou beat KAOD for Basket League twelfth day

Kolossos Rodou beat KAOD in Drama for Basket League twelfth day. Kolossos won its third game in four visits in Drama with Ernest Scott and Aggelos Tsamis having a great game. The visitors created a lead of 27 points in the second quarter but the home team managed to counter attack in the second half. KAOD's counter attack was not enough although the captain Thodoris Zaras made another great game. Zaras finished the game with 22 points and 4 rebounds, Rob Loe had 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, Rod Odom had 7 points and 6 rebounds. For the winners Scott made a double double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Sotiris Manolopoulos had 14 points with only one missed shot, Aggelos Tsamis had 14 points and 5 rebounds, Jamelle Hagins had 8 rebounds and Dominic Waters served 5 assists.

PAOK beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League eleventh day

Kolossos Rodou hosted PAOK for Basket League eleventh day. Dominic Waters debuted in the Greek League and with 8 points gave his team and early lead, 10-8, but PAOK managed to finish the first quarter leading by 5 points, 19-24. The home balanced the game and the first half finished with equal score, 39-39. Dominic Waters and Jake Odum finished the first half with 10 points. The game was tight with Kolossos Rodou leading the score of the third quarter by one points but PAOK winning the game by two points. For Kolossos Rodou Angelos Tsamis was the top scorer and rebounder with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Jamele Hagins had 11 points and 7 rebounds, Ernest Scott had 10 points and 4 assists. Dominic Waters finished the game with 10 points and 7 turnovers. For PAOK Jake Odum had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, Kevin Langford had 8 rebounds and 8 rebounds, Vangelis Margaritis had 12 points and 6 rebounds. Apollon Tsochlas had 5 assists. Kolossos Rodou signed Dominic Waters

Kolossos Rodou signed Dominic Waters. The 28 years old American point guard graduated from Portland State and started his career in Belgium for VOO Verviers-Pepinster. Waters continued his career in Liège Basket, then in Slovenia for Union Olimpija. He had played for half season in Israel for Hapoel Holon, in Spain for Bàsquet Manresa and in Germany for s.Oliver Baskets. In the previous month he played in the NBA Development League for the Grand Rapids Drive.
