Kymi signed Muhammad El-Amin

Kymi signed Muhammad El-Amin. This will be the third Greek team for the 29 years old American. El-Amin's first Greek team was Apollon Patras in 2014, when he was called to replace Travis Cohn. El-Amin had a great season with Apollon finishing fifth in points scored and third in fouls won in the first round of Basket League 2014-2015. After Apollon he moved to Italy for Reggia JuveCaserta but he returned to Greece in middle season joining the team of Kifisia. When he finished the season in Greece El-Amin moved to Qatar for Al Sadd Doha.

Rethymno Aegean beat Apollon Patras for Basket League twenty first day

Rethymno Aegean beat Apollon in Patras for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty first day. Rethymno Aegean made its second victory in a row and Apollon Patras another defeat. The visitors were more accurate and managed to create and early scoring lead, which they preserved until the end. For the home team Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had 16 points and 9 rebounds, Muhammad El-Amin had 10 points (3/10 f.g.) and 3 assists, Gaios Skordilis had 9 points. For the winners Mouhammad Faye made a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Giannis Kalampokis had 14 points, Fanis Koumpouras had 5 assists, Dejan Kravic had 9 points with 4/5 shots.

Aries Trikala beat Apollon Patras for Basket League twentieth day

Aries Trikala hosted and beat Apollon Patras for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twentieth day. Both teams play better in their home, so Trikala had the advantage. The game was tight in the first half but the home team with an 11-0 run in the end of the third quarter took the lead of the game. One double double for each team. Mike Hall had 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had 11 points and 11 rebounds. For the winners Justin Ingram had 24 points, Kwame Alexander had 12 points and 9 rebounds, Steve Panos had 12 points with 6/7 shots. For Apollon Brandon Penn had 20 points, Muhammad El-Amin had 21 points, and Nikos Argyropoulos had 11 points.

Apollon Patras beat Aris for Basket League sixteenth day

Apollon Patras hosted and beat Aris for Basket League 2014-2015 sixteenth day. The game was tight for three quarters but in the last one Aris' defence collapsed and Apollon Patras scored 30 points. Apollon Patras made only 4 turnovers, a perfect game. For the winners Muhammad El-Amin scored 20 points, Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had 14 points and 9 rebounds, Kevin Galloway had 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Gaios Skordillis with 11 points and 9 rebounds missed a double double. Brandon Penn had 17 points but with 1/6 three pointers. For Aris Muhamed Pašalić and Aleksandar Vezenkov had 18 points each with Vezenkov also having 9 rebounds. Drew Naymick had 8 rebounds and made 5 blocks!  Ogo Adegboye had 7 points with 1/6 three pointers. Another home victory for Apollon Patras, a break for Aris' winning streak.

Apollon Patras beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League fifteenth day. In a very tight game the visitors were leading the score but in the last minutes Panelfsiniakos tried to steal the victory. Muhammad El-Amin with his second three pointer made the score 71-72 and gave the victory to his team. Perfect game for El-Amin in 28 minutes scored 26 points, collected 3 rebounds, served 4 assists and did not make a turnover. Kevin Galloway had 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. For Panelefsiniakos Nikola Markovic made a double double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Fotis Vasilopoulos had 6 points and 5 assists, Kurt Looby had 13 points and 5 rebounds. Panelefsiniakos tried but with 17/35 field goals and 8/23 three pointers could not expect more.

Apollon Patras beat Panionios for Basket League twelfth day

Apollon Patras beat Panionios for Basket League twelfth day. After the Greek Cup Apollon Patras made its first road victory against Panionios in Nea Smyrni. For Panionios only William Coleman with 22 points and 14 rebounds, Dimitris Verginis with 17 points and 7 assists and Yaroslav Korolev with 11 points and 9 rebounds were not enough. For the winners Gaios Skordilis made another double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds against his previous team. Muhammad El-Amin and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick scored 13 points each, Giannis Georgalis scored 12 points and Kevin Galloway served 7 assists.

Apollon Patras beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League eleventh day

Apollon Patras hosted and beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League eleventh day. Korivos started with 0/10 shots and Apollon Patras was leading the score, 11-0. Gaios Skordilis finished the first quarter with 6 points and 8 rebounds. Apollon Patras scored only 8 points in the second quarter and Korivos managed to finish the first half only 7 points behind in score. Dwayne Davis and Brandon Penn had 10 points each and Gaios Skordilis had 12 rebounds in the first half. Korivos made its counter attack in the last quarter with partial score 14-24 and the normal time finished with the two teams having scored 65 points each. In the extra time Apollon Patras won the game and remain undefeated in its home but Korivos returned from a game that was losing 21-9 in the first quarter. Double double for Gaios Skordilis who had 14 points, 15 rebounds and 2 blocks. For Apollon Muhammad El-Amin had 20 points, Kevin Galloway had 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. KAOD hosted and beat Apollon Patras for Basket League tenth day. Before the game KAOD was in the bottom of the table and both teams did not have a road victory. KAOD was leading the game with a small difference for three quarters. In the last quarter Apollon Patras made an 11-0 run and the score became 68-69 from 68-58. KAOD replied and balanced the partial score of the last quarter and won a crucial game. Apollon Patras continued without an away victory. For KAOD Thodoris Zaras had 21 points, Rob Loe had 18 points and 7 rebounds. Manolis Papamakarios had his great come back in the Greek League with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Apollon Patras hosted and beat PAOK for Basket League ninth day. Apollon has only one away victory but is undefeated in home. Kevin Galloway returned to good games and PAOK was affected from constant games and the injury of its captain Charalampidis. Apollon Patras dominated the first three quarters and PAOK managed only to lower the difference in the last quarter. Toarlyn Fitzpatrick finished the game with a double double, 23 points and 12 rebounds. Kevin Galloway returned to good games with 17 points and 6 assists. Muhammad El-Amin continue the good games with 15 points. Gaios Skordilis had 12 points and 8 rebounds. For PAOK Kevin Langford and Apollon Tsochlas had 16 points each, Vangelis Margaritis had 13 points. Apollon Patras made only 8 turnovers while PAOK had 14.

Retyhmno Aegean hosted and beat Apollon Patras for Basket League eighth day. In the first quarter Apollon Patras made a 9-0 run from 10-9 to 10-18 and finished it with two points lead, 21-23. Apollon Patras was leading the score in the second and third quarters but in the end Rethymno Aegean won the game leaving the visitors without any road win in the Basket League 2014-2015. Apollon Patras hosted and beat Aries Trikala for Basket League seventh day. This was the third victory for Apollon in three games in Patras. Apollon Patras dominated first quarter and finished it with 15 points lead. Aries Trikala improved its offence in the second quarter but Apollon Patras preserved the difference. Brandon Penn finished first half with 15 points while the visitors had 2/11 three pointers. Visitors improved in the second half and started third quarter with a 9-0 run. Three minutes before the end the score was 73-70 but Apollon Patras with a 10-0 run won a game in which the home team never lost the lead in score. For the winners Brandon Penn had 26 points, Kevin Galloway had 17 points, Gaios Skordilis had 8 rebounds, Muhammad El-Amin had 11 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. AEK beat Apollon Patras for Basket League sixth day

AEK hosted and beat Apollon Patras for Basket League sixth day. In Dragan Šakota's debut as the coach of AEK in the Basket League his team managed to beat Apollon Patras in a very tight game. AEK shot many three pointers but was not accurate, 9/36, but had more rebounds and less turnovers than Apollon Patras. Dragan's son Dušan Šakota and Carl English were the leaders for the winners with 19 and 21 points respectively. Nontas Papantoniou served 9 assists, Milan Milošević collected 13 rebounds and Tomas Delininkaitis had 0/7 three pointers. For Apollon Patras Muhammad El-Amin had 23 points, Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had 13 points, 7 rebounds and Nikos Argyropoulos had 10 points and 4 assists. Giannis Georgalis did not score in 20 minutes before being fouled out.

Apollon Patras hosted and beat Kolossos Rodou for Basket League fifth day. Before the game Apollon Patras was in the bottom of the table but in its home the team improves a lot and Kolossos Rodou had a very poor game. Kolossos finished the first half with 21 points, Tsamis had 11 points, and only 1 assist, again Tsamis served it. Mike James had 0/6 shot and 0 points in the first half. Apollon Patras won with ease since the team had 14/31 three pointers. For Apollon Patras Brandon Penn had 19 points, Toarlyn Fitzpatrick made a double double with 15 points, and 11 rebounds, El-Amin had 12 points and Marios Batis had 8 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Nea Kifisia hosted and beat Apollon Patras for Basket League fourth day. Nea Kifisia continued with impressive victories and remains in the top of the League table. With Michalis Kakiouzis making a double double with 12 points and 13 rebounds and 10 of its players scoring the home team won Apollon Patras who had its foreign players in a bad day. Besides Kakiouzis for Nea Kifisia Nikos Liakopoulos had 8 points and 4 assists, Cade Davis had 10 points and 7 rebounds, Giannis Psathas had 8 crucial points and Uros Duvnjak had 5 points and 5 rebounds. For Apollon Patras Muhammad El-Amin had 22 points and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick had 7 points and 7 rebounds. Brandon Penn had 0/7 three pointers but also had 8 rebounds. Kevin Galloway didn't score and Apollon Patras' coach Vetoulas charged him for not being focused in the game.

Apollon Patras beat Panionios for Greek Cup. Panionios played with young players and even the team lost the game by 18 points the fans cheered the players for their effort. With the 22 years old Spyros Motsenigos being the most experienced player of Panionios the team managed to lead the score in the first half by 30-29 but in the second half the team of Patras got the expected victory.

Apollon Patras beat Korivos Amaladas for Greek Cup

Apollon Patras hosted and beat Korivos Amaladas for Greek Cup second round third day. Apollon started the game with a 7-0 run but Korivos made its own 6-18 run and finish the first quarter leading the score. Early in the second quarter Apollon got back the lead and kept it until the end. Korivos tried to counter attack in the last quarter and lowered the difference to three points, 52-49, but the home team made a 5-0 run and secured the victory. Apollon Patras had 1/12 three pointers in the first half in a tight game which was the first home game for the team. Apollon Patras had Brandon Penn, Toarlyn Fitzpatrick, Gaios Skordilis and Muhammad El-Amin with two digits points scored while for Korivos Amaliadas Rob Lowery scored 23 points, Josh Magette 9 points and Darrius Garrett 8 points.
