Olympiacos hosted and defeated Panathinaikos for Euroleague Top 16. Both Greek teams had qualified in the next round but the winner would finish third and the loser fourth in the group. Olympiacos started with a 10-3 run but Panathinaikos replied with a 10-0 run and took the lead in score. With better defense Panathinaikos kept the difference in the second quarter that reached 10 points, 19-29, in the 15th minute. Matt Lojeski with four points in a row lowered the difference to six points. Panathinaikos with two goal-fouls created a difference of 11 points but Stratos Perperoglou was the last to score in the first half with a three pointer. Olympiacos was 8 points behind in the first half since the team had many missed three pointers, 3/13, and 2/6 free throws. 7 points for Matt Lojeski and Bryant Dunston  in the first half, while Brent Petway had 5 rebounds. For Panathinaikos Loukas Mavrokefalidis had 10 points in the first half. Diamantidis had 3 assists but no points in the first half and Spanoulis had 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist.
In the second half Panathinaikos started with 12 points lead, 29-41, but Olympiacos counter attacked and with a 12-0 run balanced the game, 41-41, in the 27th minute. Olympiacos improved in three pointers but with poor accuracy in the free throws couldn't maintain the lead. Fourth quarter started with a turnover by Spanoulis and a three pointer by Ramel Curry. Dimitris Diamantidis scored his first points with free throws in the 36th minute, giving his team six points lead, 56-62. Olympiacos missed two shots but took the offensive rebounds and with Kostas Sloukas scoring a three pointer lowered the difference to 3 points, 59-62. Dunston and Curry scored and missed one free throw each making the score 60-63. Mantzaris missed a three pointer, Bramos missed a two pointer before Kostas Sloukas equalized the score, 63-63. Diamantidis made his fifth turnover giving Olympiacos the advantage. Vasilis Spanoulis scored and made the score 65-63 just 23 seconds before the end. Loukas Mavrokefalidis with a dunk equalized the score for one more time with 4 seconds remaining. Vasilis Spanoulis scored a three pointer in the end and gave his team 3 points lead and only 0.8 seconds left for Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos made a turnover in the last ball, Sloukas made the steal and Olympiacos won by three points, 68-65.

Ikaros Chalkidas lost by Olympiacos for Greek Basket League 16th day. With Matt Lojeski scoring 11 points in the first quarter, Olympiacos took the lead by 5 points, 19-24. Ikaros Chalkidas was competitive for one half. In the first half the difference was only 3 points and the game tight. In the third quarter Olympiacos let Ikaros Chalkidas score only 8 points and created a safe difference. Since Olympiacos secured the victory, played better and broadened the final score to 23 points. Good game for Ikaros Chalkidas but lasted only one half against Euroleague winners. For Ikaros Chalkidas Dominique Sutton had 15 points and 5 rebounds, Giannis Gagaloudis 15 points, Ivan Aska 14 points, Darrin Govens 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Olympiacos had 6 players with two digits points but Matt Lojeski was the top scorer with 17 points. Bryant Dunston had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 fouls drawn.

Panathinaikos won Olympiacos for Greek League 14th day

Panathinaikos hosted and defeated Olympiacos for Greek Basket League 14th day. Olympiacos defeated Panathinaikos in OAKA in the previous season with 60-64 score and also won in the first round game in Piraeus. Panathinaikos starting five were Diamantidis, Ukić, Mačiulis, Gist and Lasme. Starting five for Olympiacos were Mantzaris, Spanoulis, Lojeski, Printezis and Dunston.The game started with three consecutive missed three pointers, two for Olympiacos and one for Panathinaikos. Then Giorgos Printezis scored four points. Panathinaikos scored after 3 minutes in the game with Stephane Lasme, Roko Leni Ukić equalized the score and Ramel Curry gave the lead to Panathinaikos for the first time with 7-4 score. Vasilis Spanoulis with his first three pointer gave the lead to Olympiaocs by 9-10 but Ramel Curry with his second three pointer replied. Panathinaikos had 3/6 three pointers, while Olympiacos only 1/8 in the first quarter. Ramel Curry had 10 points in the first quarter. Olympiacos started second quarter with a 5-0 run and equalized the score, 17-17. Panathinaikos scored 3 points in the first 7 minutes of the second quarter, but then scored 6 points in a row. First half finished with Panathinaikos ahead in score by two points, 27-25. Mat Lojeski finished first half with 8 points and 5 rebounds. Olympiacos' coach Bartzokas was charged with a technical foul after the half time, due to complaining at coaches' decisions. In the second half Dimitris Diamantidis was charged with his third foul and Olympiacos took the lead with 28-31. Stephane Lasme felt sick and remained in the bench for the third quarter. Panathinaikos with a 5-0 run took back the lead by two, 35-33. With another 5-0 run in the end of the third quarter Panathinaikos finished ahead by 4, 41-37. The two teams were nervous in the last minutes with 6 consecutive turnovers from both teams to keep the score in low levels. Dimitris Diamantidis scored his first three pointer of the game and gave his team ten points lead, 52-42, two minutes before the end. Panathinaikos won a tight game and secured the first place of the Greek Basket League normal season. Olympiacos had a poor 13% in three pointer and made three more turnovers than Panathinaikos, 19 vs 16. For Panathinaikos Ramel Curry was the top scorer with 12 points. Dimitris Diamantidis had 10 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. James Gist and Antonis Fotsis had 6 rebounds each. For Olympiacos Matt Lojeski scored 10 points and had 8 rebounds, with Bryant Dunston having 8 points and 8 rebounds. Vasilis Spanoulis had 3 points with 1/8 three pointers and 0/2 two pointers.
