Peristeri BC has announced the acquisition of 23-year-old Spanish point guard Alvaro Cardenas on a loan deal from Valencia for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Cardenas, who spent the last few seasons in NCAA college basketball, will reinforce the team's backcourt.

The 23-year-old Spaniard will strengthen the team's perimeter line next season. Alvaro Cardenas is the definition of a playmaker. For the winners Spanoulis had 15 points and 7 assists, Dimitris Agravanis had 8 points and 10 rebounds, Bryant Dunston had 14 points. For Valencia Pau Ribas, Bojan Dubljevic and Vladimir Lucic had 16 points each.

Valencia hosted Olympiacos for Euroleague 2014-2015 first day. The game was balanced and Olympiacos managed to win as its players were more focused in the end. For Olympiacos the captain Spanoulis had 12 points with 3/5 three pointers in the first half and finished the game with 21 points and 5 assists. Brent Petway didn't score but had 8 rebounds and 3 assists. For Valencia Luke Harangody had 14 points while Dwight Buycks and Romain Sato had 11 points each.
