Cholargos sign Nikos Angelopoulos. The 32 years old Greek forward will continue in A2 League, where in the previous season he averaged 9.7 points and 3.4 rebounds with Faros Keratsiniou. Angelopoulos has also played for Korivos Amaliadas, Rethymno, Kavala, Panionios, Aigaleo and Ilisiakos.

Korivos Amaliadas beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League twenty third day

Korivos Amaliadas beat Panelefsiniakos for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 twenty third day. With this victory Korivos avoided relegation in its first year in the League and Panelefsiniakos will get relegated. Panelefsiniakos was leading the score for more than 37 minutes but in the end Korivos stole the victory with a shot by Josh Magette. Korivos had 3/16 three pointers but Panelefsiniakos collected only 23 rebounds, and only 7 offensive rebounds. For Panelefsiniakos Nemanja Mitrovic had 18 points (5/5 3p) and Nikola Markovic had 16 points (5/12 2p). Kurt Looby collected 4 offensive rebounds. For the winners Tim Bowers had 12 points and 6 assists, Guille Rubio had 14 points, Kirk Donnavan had 11 points and 2 blocks, Nikos Angelopoulos collected 7 rebounds.

KAOD beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League eighteenth day

KAOD hosted and beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 eighteenth day. KAOD covered the difference of the first round defeat and is in better position to avoid relegation. For the winners the experienced Manolis Papamakarios scored 14 points, 10 points in the first quarter, the captain Thodoris Zaras had 16 points and 8 fouls drawn, and Dimitris Tsaldaris had 9 points with 3/4 three pointers. Rod Odom touched a double double with 10 points and 9 rebounds, Rob Loe had 7 points and 9 rebounds, Obie Trotter served 5 assists. Eric Atkins had 2/10 field goals and Trotter had 4 turnovers. For Korivos Amaliadas Rawle Marshall had 18 points, Nikos Aggelopoulos had 13 points and Tim Bowers had 10 points. Andreas Kanonidis collected 5 rebounds, with his 2 offensive rebounds being the total offensive rebounds of his team. Larry Turner and Guille Rubio had 1/4 field goals each.

Korivos Amaliadas beat PAOK for Basket League seventeenth day

Korivos Amaliadas hosted and beat PAOK for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 seventeenth day. The second fight between father and son, Soulis and Harris Markopoulos. The first half was a game between Rawle Marshall and Jake Odum, who scored 12 and 11points respectively. In the second quarter Langford and Angelopoulos took the lead in scoring. The game was tight and the two teams could not create a secure difference. In the last minute Korivos Amaliadas was more focused and took advantage of its home and fans. Great victory for Korivos in its fight to avoid relegation and first official victory for Haris Markopoulos against his father Soulis Markopoulos. For the winners Tim Bowers finished the game with a double double, 15 points and 15 rebounds. Rawle Marshall had 14 points (12 in the first quarter), Nikos Angelopoulos had 11 points and 6 rebounds, Sasa Vasiljevic had 10 points.  For PAOK Apollon Tsochlas had 14 points, Jake Odum and Kevin Langford had 12 points each, with Odum having 7 rebounds and 4 assists too. PAOK made 17 turnovers and had 4/20 three pointers and 9/15 free throws.

Rethymno Aegean beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League sixteenth day

Rethymno Aegean hosted and beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League Greece 2014-2015 sixteenth day. Korivos surprised Rethymno in the first quarter with a 8-22 partial score but the home team was lowering the difference steadily until the end. In the extra time Rethymno with 20-8 partial score did not let Korivos hope. For the winners Mouhammad Faye made a double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Roeland Schaftenaar had 14 points and 8 rebounds, Dejan Kravic had 14 points, Chaisson Allen had 13 points and Fanis Koumpouras had 10 points and 5 assists. For Korivos Josh Magette had a complete performance with 15 points, 8 fouls drawn, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Nikos Angelopoulos with 17 points and 8 rebounds did his best and Rawie Marshall had 9 points and 9 rebounds. Korivos believed it could make a road victory after seven defeats but in the over time Rethymno dominated the game.

Panelefsiniakos beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League tenth day. Panelefsiniakos started the game better and was leading the score in the first quarter. The home team counter attacked and led the second and third quarters but Panelefsiniakos managed to steal the victory in the last seconds. Seven seconds before the end Eric Michael scored two points and gave his team the lead. Saša Vasiljević missed the last shot and Panelefsiniakos won Korivos in Amaliada in a tight game. For Korivos Amaliadas Dwayne Davis had 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Nikos Angelopoulos had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. For Panelefsiniakos Eric Michael had 19 points and 7 rebounds, Frank Robinson had 17 points and 7 rebounds, Elijah Johnson had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Olympiacos beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League ninth day

Olympiacos hosted and beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League ninth day. This was the first game of Korivos Amalidas against Olympiacos and the visitors troubled the home team for the whole game. The six points lead of the first quarter became three points in the half time and have been eliminated by the third quarter. In the 34th minute the score was 64-64 and Korivos was still in the game but have already made 5 team fouls while Olympiacos had only two. Then Aggelopoulos was charged with a unsportsman-like foul and Olympiacos made a 6-0 run and created a safe difference. With six consecutive points by Vasilis Spanoulis Olympiacos was leading the score by 8 points, with only 3 minutes remaining. Korivos tried to steal the victory and with a three pointers by Aggelopoulos and two free throws by Magette made the score 74-71 with two minutes remaining. Vangelis Mantzaris scored, Vasiljevic missed a three pointer, Petway missed two shots and Spanoulis one and Rubio made the score 76-73. 34 seconds before the end Lafayette missed a three pointer but Petway collected the offensive rebound and Davis committed a foul. Vasilis Spanoulis missed two free throws but Vangelis Mantzaris with a three pointer made the score 79-73, which was the final score since both Vasiljevic and Davis failed to score. Victory for Olympiacos but a tough one against the very competitive Korivos Amaliadas. For Olympiacos Spanoulis had 21 points and 6 assists, Brent Petway had 9 points and 12 rebounds, Vangelis Mantzaris had 9 points and 7 assists. For Korivos Amaliadas Dwayne Davis had 22 points, Nikos Angelopolos and Guille Rubio had 10 points each, Josh Magette had 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, Giorgos Galiotos had 2 points and 10 rebounds. In a great game Olympiacos finished the game with 7 team turnovers while Korivos Amaliadas with 8 team turnovers.

Aries Tirkala beat Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League second day

Aries Tirkala hosted and defeated Korivos Amaliadas for Basket League second day. Trikala started the season with a defeat and Korivos with a victory but Trikala was playing its first home game against the newly promoted team of Korivos. Aries Trikala started better the game and was leading by 16-7 but Korivos made a 10-0 run and first quarter finished with the home team one point ahead. Second quarter was also tough with Robert Lowery being charged with a technical foul for complaining while his team was leading the score. The home team finished first half with 2/10 thre pointers. In the third quarter both teams improved and in the most productive quarter Aries Trikala took the lead. Korivos Amaliadas was better in the last quarter and balanced the game. In the last minute Angelopoulos with a three pointer and Robert Lowery with a goal-foul made the score from 67-61 to 67-67! Mario Matalon missed the next shot for Trikala and Josh Magette for Korivos so the game went to overtime. In the extra time Trikala was leading the score before Korivos started scoring three pointers. Magette, Kanonidis, Giannakidis scored three consecutive three pointers in the last minute and the score from 77-73 became 79-82! Matalon with four points in a row made the score 83-83 with six seconds left. In the last attack of Korivos the players of Trikala didn't make a foul on Magette with coach Flevarakis screaming but Mario Matalon stole the ball and equalized the score. Rob Lowery missed the last shot and the game went to second extra time. First extra time five minutes were most productive for both teams than the fourth quarter! In the second extra time Kadji, Matalon and Ingram helped their team to win a tight game after two extra times and 50 minutes. Kenny Kadji made a double double with 26 points and 13 rebounds. For Aries Trikala Justin Ingram had 17 points, Cupkovic had 15 points and 9 rebounds, Mario Matalon had 13 points and Nate Bowie had 12 points. For Korivos Amaliadas Rob Lowery had 23 points and 7 rebounds, Michalis Giannakidis had 17 points, Nikos Angelopoulos had 14 points, Darrius Garrett had 11 points and Josh Magette served 8 assists.
