AEK agreed terms with Michael Eric

AEK agreed terms with Michael Eric. The 27 years old Nigerian center will help AEK in the Basket League play offs. AEK wil be the second Greek team for Eric since he agreed terms with Panelefsiniakos in December 2014, but after playing one game against Korivos Amaliadas (19 points, 7 rebounds), he left the team and moved to Italy for Brindisi.

Eric Michael left Panelefsiniakos for Brindisi

Panelefsiniakos signed Michael Eric on December 4th and he debuted against Korivos Amaliadas helping his team win the game with 19 points and 7 rebounds but the player got an offer from Enel Brindisi and penned the contract. Eric had a special contract term and in Brindisi will replace Cedric Simmons who is injured for the whole season.

The home team counter attacked and led the second and third quarters but Panelefsiniakos managed to steal the victory in the last seconds. Seven seconds before the end Eric Michael scored two points and gave his team the lead. Saša Vasiljević missed the last shot and Panelefsiniakos won Korivos in Amaliada in a tight game. For Korivos Amaliadas Dwayne Davis had 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Nikos Angelopoulos had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. For Panelefsiniakos Eric Michael had 19 points and 7 rebounds, Frank Robinson had 17 points and 7 rebounds, Elijah Johnson had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Panelefsiniakos signed Eric Michael. The 26 years old Nigerian center graduated from Temple University where he played in the NCAA. In the previous season Michael played for Texas Legends in NBA D-League and has also played for Canton Charge. He participated in Summer League 2012 with Cleveland Cavaliers. During the summer Michael signed a pro contract with Milwaukee Bucks but due to roster limitations the team released him on October 27th 2014.
