Peristeri signed Costis Gontikas. The 25-year-old Greek center/forward penned a three-year contract with the club. Gontikas graduated from New York University and started his career with Panathinaikos. In 2017 Gontikas moved to Apollon Patras and in the previous season, he moved to Ifaistos Limnou where in 14 games for the domestic league he averaged 3.1 points and 2 rebounds.

The 24-year-old Greek center graduated from New York in 2016 and after going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft he started his professional career with Panathinaikos. With Panathinaikos, Gontikas played only three games for the Basket League Greece 2016-2017. In the previous season, he played in A2 League with Apollon Patras, averaging 12.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 33 games. Gontikas was a member of the Greece U20 national team.
