Kavala agreed terms with Andy Mazurczak

Kavala agreed terms with Andy Mazurczak. The American Polish guard graduated from Wisconsin-Parkside and went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft. In his senior college year Mazurczak averaged 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.

Olympiacos defeated Zielona Góra for Euroleague

Olympiacos hosted and defeated Zielona Góra for Euroleague fifth day. Zielona Góra started the game better than Olympiacos and the first quarter finished with the visitor team ahead with double score, 11-22. Olympiacos improved in the second and the first half ended with the team from Poland ahead by 9, 33-42. Aaron Cel and Vladimir Dragičević had 10 points each in the first half. Olympiacos had many missed three pointers in the first half, 2/13 but its two pointers were keeping the team in the game, 11/15. Zielona Góra was ahead by 8 in the end of the third quarter and was ahead in the fourth until the end. In the final minutes Olympiacos approached and lowered the score to 2-3 points. In the final attack Vangelis Mantzaris scored a buzzer beater three pointer and Olympiacos continued its winning streak. This was the first successful field shot for Mantzaris in the game. Vladimir Dragičević finished the game with a double double, with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
