Panionios signed Demetric Austin. The 25-year-old American forward penned a contract until the end of the season. Austin graduated from Dillard University and has played professional basketball in Portugal for Barreirense and in Turkey for Sigotram. With Barreinense Austin averaged 19.42 points, 7.92 rebounds, and 1.67 assists per game. Austin replaced Brandon Wood who parted ways with the club.

The 29-year-old American graduated from Michigan State, after having played college basketball for Southern Illinois, Highland CC, and Valparaiso, and went undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft. Wood started his career in Hungary with Alba Fehervar and has also played in Italy for Pallacanestro Trieste, in FYROM for KK Feni Industries, in Lithuania for Lietkabelis, in Switzerland for BBC Monthey, and in G-League with Windy Bulls.
