Panionios signed Demetric Austin

Panionios signed Demetric Austin. The 25-year-old American forward penned a contract until the end of the season. Austin graduated from Dillard University and has played professional basketball in Portugal for Barreirense and in Turkey for Sigotram. With Barreinense Austin averaged 19.42 points, 7.92 rebounds, and 1.67 assists per game. Austin replaced Brandon Wood who parted ways with the club.

Nikos Oikonomou is Panionios new coach

Nikos Oikonomou is the new coach of Panionios. The 45-year-old Greek coach returns to the club after the season 2016-2017 when he led the team to the promotion from A2 League to BasketLeague. Oikonomou has worked as the head coach of Spata, Ionikos Neas Filadelfias, Ikaroi Serron, Livadia, Ionikos Nikaias, and Apollon Patras but this will be the first time he will coach a team at the top tier league. Oikonomou replaces Fragias who replaced Chougaz who replaced Skourtopoulos.

Panionios released Brandon Wood

Panionios released Brandon Wood. The 29-year-old American guard was released by the club after some negative comments he made about coach Fragias. Wood joined Panionios just two weeks ago and played only one game with the club scoring 5 points.

Panionios signed Giorgos Papadimitriou

Panionios signed Giorgos Papadimitriou. The 25-year-old Greek guard started his career with Filathlitikos in the A2 League and in 2017 he moved to Lavrio. With Filathlitikos Papadimitriou averaged 10.3 points per game and in 13 games with Lavrio for the Basket League 2017-2018, he averaged 1.23 points in almost 4 minutes per game.

Panionios signed Nontas Papantoniou

Panionios signed Nontas Papantoniou. The 28-year-old Greek guard started the season on a short-term contract with PAOK but was released by the club having played two games in the Basket League. Papantoniou is the third addition to the club, after Joey Dorsey and Brandon Wood, since coach Fragias became the head coach,

Panionios signed Brandon Wood

Panionios signed Brandon Wood. The 29-year-old American graduated from Michigan State, after having played college basketball for Southern Illinois, Highland CC, and Valparaiso, and went undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft. Wood started his career in Hungary with Alba Fehervar and has also played in Italy for Pallacanestro Trieste, in FYROM for KK Feni Industries, in Lithuania for Lietkabelis, in Switzerland for BBC Monthey, and in G-League with Windy Bulls.

Panionios signed Joey Dorsey

Panionios signed Richard Elmer "Joey" Dorsey. The 35-year-old American center/forward replaces Τaylor Johns. Dorsey graduated from Memphis and was chosen as the 33rd overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers. In 2012 Dorsey joined Olympiacos and won the Euroleague. Besides Olympiacos Dorsey has played in the NBA for the Ηοuston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors, in D-League for Rio Grande Valley Vipers, in Spain for Caja Laboral and Barcelona, in Turkey for Royal Halı Gaziantep, Galatasaray and Best Balıkesir.

Vasilis Fragias is Panionios' new coach

Vasilis Fragias is Panionios' new coach. The 57-year-old Greek coach replaces Chris Chougaz who had replaced Thanasis Skourtopoulos in September. Fragias started his coaching career with Pagrati and has also worked for Peristeri, Sporting, Ilisiakos, Vyzantinos AO, Olympia Larisas, Ario, AE Lemesou (Cyprus), Dafni, Kolossos Rodou, Keravnos Strovolou (Cyprus), Dnipro Azot Dniprodzerzhynsk (Ukraine), and most recently was the head coach of the Qatar national team.

Panionios waived Jamie Skeen

Panionios waived Jamie Skeen. The 30-year-old American forward signed with Panionios a month ago but the club decided to waive him before the start of the season and replace him with Taylor Johns

Panionios signed Τaylor Johns

Panionios signed Τaylor Johns. The 24-year-old American forward graduated from Riverside and went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft. Johns has played in Slovenia for Rogaska Crystal, in Israel for Ηapoel Migdal, and in Mexico for Pioneros de Los Mochis. With Pioneros de Los Mochis he averaged 19.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. Johns replaces Jamie Skeen who was waived by the club.

Panionios signed Brandon Brown. The 27-year-old American guard graduated from Loyola Marymount University and went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. In the last season Brown played in Switzerland with Boncourt Red Team where he averaged 27 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.

Panionios signed E. J. Singler

Panionios signed E. J. Singler. The 28-year-old American forward graduated from Oregon and went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft. Singler started his professional career with Idaho Stampede and in 2014 he moved to Estonia for Kalev. In 2015 Singler returned to the USA and Ιdaho Stampede and in the next season, he moved to Raptors 905 where he won the NBA D-League championship. In the previous season, Singler played in Germany for Oliver Wurzburg.

Panionios signed Darnell Harris. The 26-year-old American forward graduated from Μiddle Tennesee State and started his professional career in Belgium with Charleroi. In the previous season, Harris played for Liege again in Belgium.

Nikos Diplaros renews with Panionios

Nikos Diplaros renews with Panionios. The 21-year-old Greek guard penned a new one year contract with the team of Nea Smyrni. Diplaros started his career with Esperos Patras and joined AEK in June 2015 before being released three months later to join Aris. Diplaros played only one season with Aris and moved on loan to Machites Doxas Pefkon in the next season. In November 2017 Diplaros penned an one year contract with Panionios where he averaged 3.3 points and 1.09 assists per game for the Basket League Greece 2018. 

Chris Chougaz is Panionios new coach

Chris Chougaz is Panionios new coach. The 50-year-old Greek Egyptian returns to Panionios for the third time as coach. Chougaz has played in Panionios in 1992 and he became the club's assistant coach in 2005. In January 2015 Chougaz replaced Vangelis Alexandris and became the head coach of the club until the end of the season. Chougaz now replaces Thanasis Skourtopoulos who had agreed terms with the club but parted ways after the club changed ownership. Besides Panionios Chougaz has worked as head coach for Kavala, Iraklis, OFI BC, Apollon Limassol, Österreich Oberwart Gunners, and USK Prag.

Panionios signed Kasey Hill

Panionios signed Kasey Hill. The 25-year-old American guard graduated from Florida and went undrafter in the 2017 NBA Draft. Hill started his career Hungary with Alba Fehérvár where he averaged 10.7 points and 4.8 assists for the domestic league and 13.2 points and 5.4 assists for the Basketball Champions League qualification games.

Panionios signed Nikos Kamarianos

Panionios signed Nikos Kamarianos. The 21-year-old Greek forward penned a three-year contract with the club. Kamarianos is 204 centimetres high and has played in the youth teams of Panellinios, Panathinaikos and AEK. In the last two seasons Kamarianos played in B League with Nea Kifisia.

Panionios signed Jamie Skeen. The 30-year-old American forward graduated from VCU and went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. Skeen started his professional career in France with ASVEL and has also played in Israel with Εlizur, Macabi Ashdod, in Belgium with Belfius Mons-Hainaut, in Finland with Kouvot, and in New Zealand with  Hawke's Bay Hawks.
