Jaelynn Brown Joins Panathinaikos from Connecticut Sun

Panathinaikos WBC has secured another impactful American player with the signing of Jaelynn Brown, a 26-year-old (born October 12, 1998) small forward/power forward. Brown, standing at 1.85m (6'1"), comes to Athens from the WNBA's Connecticut Sun.

 

Brown's career includes significant experience in various leagues worldwide, showcasing her versatility and quality:

WNBA: She played for the Dallas Wings in 2024 and is currently with the Connecticut Sun for the 2025 season.

Athinaikos Signs Robyn Parks

Athinaikos has signed Robyn Parks, the naturalized forward of the Greek Women's National Team, to a two-year contract. The 33-year-old guard (born July 19, 1992) will join the team in the A1 Women's League for the next two seasons, following her participation in the EuroBasket with the Greek national team.

At Athinaikos, Parks will reunite with several of her Greek national team teammates, including Pavlopoulou, Louka, and Chairistanidou.

Maltsi went abroad and played for Celta de Vigo and CDB Zaragoza in Spain, Bourges in France, and one season for the  Connecticut Sun in the WNBA. After the WNBA she continued in Europe for Ros Casares in Spain, UŠK Prague in Czech Republic, and for Kayseri Kaski, Homend Antakya and Botaş in Turkey. With the National Team of Greece she finished third in scoring at the 2010 FIBA World Championship for Women. Olympiacos signed Maltsi after winning its first Greek double, aiming for a good season in the European Championship.
