Panathinaikos WBC has officially announced the signing of American center Elizabeth Dixon for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The 23-year-old, standing at 1.96 meters, brings valuable experience from her time in the WNBA and European leagues.

Phoenix Mercury: Dixon played multiple seasons, contributing significantly in limited minutes. In the 2023-24 season, she played 12 games, averaging 6.9 minutes, 2.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 63.2% and a free throw percentage of 90.0%.

Connecticut Sun: Briefly played, adding depth to the roster. During her stint, she appeared in 4 games, averaging 5.3 minutes, 1.0 point, 0.5 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 40.0%.

Olympiacos (W) signed Erlana Larkins

Olympiacos (W) signed Erlana Larkins. The 30 years old American forward graduated from North Carolina and was picked by New York Liberty in the 14th overall place of the 2008 WNBA Draft. Larkins played two years for the New York Liberty and then moved to Indiana Fever. Larkins played four seasons for Indiana Fever and won the WNBA 2011-2012 championship. She has played overseas for Samsun BK, Adana ASKI and Mersin BSB in Turkey, Jiangsu Phoenix in China and PF Schio in Italy. With PF Schio Larkins won the Italian Championship and Cup in 2014.

Zoi Dimitrakou signed with WNBA's Washington Mystics

Zoi Dimitrakou has signed a contract with WNBA's Washington Mystics. The Greek 28 years old forward will become the third Greek player after Anastasia Kostaki (Houston Comets) and Evina Maltsi  (Connecticut Sun) to play in the WNBA.

Dimitrakou started her career in Apollon Kalamarias, and has played for Megas Alexandros, Panionios and AO Palaio Faliro in Greece. In 2010 she moved to Spain for Sedis Bàsquet and played for the first time abroad. After Spain she moved to France where she played for Pays d'Aix Basket 13, Flammes Carolo Basket and Tango Bourges Basket. With Tango Bourges Dimitrakou played for the first time in Euroleague. Dimitrakou continued her career in Turkey with Kayseri Kaski and in Russia with Nadejda Orenbourg.
Dimitrakou is a member of the Greece squad that will play in the Eurobasket 2017 qualifying round.

In 2009 Dimitrakou became the first European player to make a quadruple double! In the game against Aris Cholargou Dimitrakou scored 49 points (3/7 FT, 23/27 FG), collected 18 rebounds, served 10 assists and made 12 steals in 34 minutes.

Evina Maltsi's buzzer beater

Evina Maltsi's buzzer beater. The Greek 37 years old guard is currently playing for Botaş in the Turkish Women's Basketball League where she scored this buzzer beater.

Unique? Rare? Not for Maltsi, since she has done it before, in the final of the Czech Women's League with UŠK Prague.

After all she is a player that has played in the WNBA where she had some quality games with  Connecticut Sun.
