Trikala sign Stelios Poulianitis

Trikala sign Stelios Poulianitis. The 21 years old Greek guard joined Aris in 2013 and played his first Basket League games in 2015. In the previous season Poulianitis played on loan to Korivos Amaliadas, where he averaged 2.17 points in 24 games. Poulianitis started this season with Aris but he parted ways with the team and agreed terms with Trikala. Poulianitis was a member of all youth national teams of Greece.

Trikala sign David Haughton

Trikala sign David Haughton. The 25 years old American forward / center graduated from Purchace. After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft Haughton started his career in Estonia with BC Rakvere Tarvas. In the previous season with Tarvas Haughton averaged 10.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in 32 games for the Estonian League (Korvpalli Meistriliiga) and 9.1 points and 8.7 rebounds in 14 games for the Baltic Basketball League.

Trikala sign Mike Caffey

Trikala sign Mike Caffey. The 23 years old American guard graduated from Long Beach State University. In his senior year with the LBSU Caffey averaged 16.2 points per game. Caffey started his professional career in Hungary with Jaszbereny, where he averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Trikala sign Oleksandr Lypovyy

Trikala sign Oleksandr Lypovyy. The 25 years old Ukrainian guard is currently playing with the national team of Ukraine for the Eurobasket 2017 qualification phase. Lypovyy started his career in Ukraine with BC Kyiv and has also played for BC Donetsk and Budivelnyk. Lypovyy has played in Serbia for Crvena Zvezda, in Georgia for VITA Tbilisi, and in Hungary for Szolnoki Olaj. In the previous season Lypovyy played in Ukraine for Dynamo Kyiv, averaging 14.9 points, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

Trikala sign Sotiris Manolopoulos

Trikala sign Sotiris Manolopoulos. The 29 years old Greek forward started his professional career in 2003 with to PAOK. Manolopoulos has played for AEL, Peristeri, Kavala, Ikaros Chalkidas, Aris and Kolossos Rodou in Greece, and for Bàsquet Mallorca, Palencia Baloncesto and Gestibérica Vigo in Spain. In the previous season in 26 games with Kolossos Manolopoulos averaged 5.85 points and 1.88 rebounds per game.

Trikala sign Gilvydas Biruta

Trikala sign Gilvydas Biruta. The 25 years old Lithuanian forward will continue playing basketball in Basket League Greece with Trikala. Biruta signed with Lavrio in February 2016 and played five games. In these five games Biruta averaged 3.4 points and 2.2 rebounds. Biruta played but did not score in the road victory of Trikala against Lavrio.

Trikala sign Angelo Tsagarakis

Trikala sign Angelo Tsagarakis. The 32 years old French guard played four years college basketballl for Oregon State Beavers and one year for Cal Poly Pomona Broncos. Tsagarakis started his professional career in France with JL Bourg-en-Bresse and continued with Paris-Levallois. He has played professional basketball only in France, with Châlons Reims, SOMB Boulogne-sur-Mer, and JA Vichy. iN 2014 Tsagarakis won the LNB Pro B champion with SOMB Boulogne-sur-Mer. In his last season with JA Vichy Tsagarakis averaged 11.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

Trikala sign Kelsey Barlow

Trikala sign Kelsey Barlow. The 25 years old American guard played three years for Purdue but graduated from Illinois-Chicago and went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft. Barlow started his career with Grand Rapids in the NBA D-League, and then moved to French LNB Pro-B for Lille Metropole BC where he averaged 11.7 points and 2.2 assists per game. Kelsey is the son of Ken Barlow who played for PAOK in 1990-1993.

Giannis Kastritis is Trikala's new coach

Giannis Kastritis is Trikala's new coach. The 34 years old Greek coach started his coaching career as Giannis Christodoulou's assistant in Olympiada Patron in 2008. Kastritis sign with Apolloniada as the head coach and then moved to Arkadikos. In the previous season the 33 years old Kastritis was the youngest coach in Basket League Greece. As a player Kastritis had played for GS Arkadias, Arkadikos and Panachaiki. Kastritis will replace Flevarakis who was the head coach of the team in Basket League Greece.

Trikala renew Varytimiadis, Kalles, Kalogiannidis and Karathanasis

Trikala renew Alexandros Varytimiadis, Nikos Kalles, Filippos Kalogiannidis and Giannis Karathanasis. The four Greek players will continue with the team in Basket League Greece. In the previous season Kalles averaged 2 points and 2.2 rebounds, Karathanasis averaged 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds, Kalogiannidis averaged 1 point and 0.7 rebound, and Varytimiadis averaged 1.3 points and 2 rebounds per game.
