Promitheas Signs Pauly Paulicap

Promitheas Patras has secured American big man Pauly Paulicap (28 years old, 2.07 meters / 6'9") to strengthen their frontline for the upcoming season. Head coach Giorgos Limniatis will welcome the athletic forward/center who is known for his dynamic play around the basket.

Recent Performance in Italy

Last season (2024-25), Paulicap played for Nutribullet Treviso in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A, where he averaged: 9.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks. He showcased impressive efficiency, shooting 58.7% from the field.

Paulicap is highly regarded for his athleticism and ability to impact both ends of the floor. He's particularly effective in the paint and was considered one of the most spectacular players in the Italian league.

Born in the USA on October 24, 2002, JJ Quinerly stands at 173cm (5'8") and plays as a guard. She is a distinguished alumna of West Virginia University.

Collegiate Career (West Virginia University, 2021-2025)

Quinerly enjoyed a stellar four-year career at West Virginia, consistently improving her performance and earning significant recognition.

She ranked second in the Big 12 in steals per game and led West Virginia to the best scoring defense in the conference. She earned her second consecutive Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award and was a First-team All-Big 12 honoree for the third straight year, becoming only the second player in program history to achieve this. Quinerly concluded her collegiate career with impressive totals of 2,016 points, 410 rebounds, 341 assists, and 328 steals. A Rising Star from West Virginia University

Sherman graduated from West Virginia University in 2022, where he played a pivotal role for the Mountaineers. In his final season, Sherman averaged 17.7 points, 3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game over 31 appearances, with an average of 34 minutes on the court. His shooting accuracy from beyond the arc stood at 34.6%. These achievements earned him a spot on the Second Team All-Big 12, highlighting his significant contribution to one of the most competitive conferences in college basketball.

European Career: From Hungary to Finland

Following his collegiate success, Sherman began his professional career in Europe. His first stop was with Budapesti Honvéd SE in Hungary during the 2022-2023 season. Sherman showcased his scoring prowess by averaging 15.7 points per game, along with 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists. Notably, he shot an impressive 41.6% from three-point range, solidifying his reputation as a reliable perimeter shooter.

PAOK sign Darryl Bryant. The 26 years old American guard graduated from West Virginia, where in his senior year he averaged 16.9 points, 2.7 assists and 1.4 steals in 37 minutes per game. Bryant went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft and started his career in Austria for BSC Raiffeisen Panthers, where he averaged 18.1 points, 3.7 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game. After a season in Austria Bryant moved to Czech Republic for BC Kolin, where he played 24 games and averaged 19.5 points and 4.3 assists per game. In the previous season Bryant played in Italy's Liga Due for Mens Sana Basket 1871 Siena.
