Shavar Reynolds Jr. Joins PAOK for the 2024-25 Season

PAOK BC has announced the signing of Shavar Reynolds Jr., a 26-year-old American guard, for the 2024-25 season. Reynolds, who previously played for Keravnos Strovolou under coach Michalis Kakiouzis in Cyprus, brings a wealth of talent and championship experience to the team.

Career Highlights and Statistics

Born on May 11, 1998, in New Jersey, Shavar Reynolds Jr. stands at 1.88 meters (6'2") and plays as a guard. His basketball journey began at the prestigious Seton Hall University, where he played for four years (2017-2021). During his tenure at Seton Hall, Reynolds averaged 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game in his final year. He concluded his collegiate career at Monmouth University, where he posted impressive numbers in the 2021-22 season with averages of 14.1 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists over 31 games.


Professional Career

Reynolds launched his professional career in the Dutch league during the 2022-23 season with Feyenoord. In 29 games, he averaged 18.7 points, 4 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game, with notable shooting percentages of 42.7% from three-point range and 84.3% from the free-throw line.

In the 2023-24 season, Reynolds played for Keravnos Strovolou in Cyprus, where he had an outstanding year. He led his team to both the Championship and the Cyprus Cup. In 40 games across the Cyprus league and the Europe Cup, Reynolds averaged 13.8 points with a remarkable 48.3% three-point shooting and 84.2% free-throw accuracy. Additionally, he contributed 2.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.

Kymi signed Nikos Stylianou


Kymi signed Nikos Stylianou. The 29-year-old Greek Cypriot forward graduated from West Texas A&M University and went undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft. In the previous season Stylianou played for Faros Larisas in Greece and finished the season in Lithuania for Alytus Dzukija. Stylianou has also played in Cyrpus for Keravnos Strovolou and AEK Larnaca, in Greece for Rethymno, Kavala, OFI and Koroivos Amaliadas. He is a member of the national team of Cyprus.

Promitheas signed Terell Parks

Promitheas signed Terell Parks. The 27-year-old American center graduated from Western Illinois and has played in Poland with SKK Kotwica Kolobrzeg, in Slovenia for KK Tajfun Sentjur, in Cyrpus for Anagennisi Germasogeias and Keravnos Strovolou. In the last season with Keravnos Parks averaged 13.9 points and 8.6 rebounds in the domestic league and 8.8 points and 8.3 rebounds in Eurocup. Parks was voted as the best defender of the Eurocup 2018.

Faros Larisa sign Nikos Stylianou

Faros Larisa sign Nikos Stylianou. The 29-year-old Greek Cypriot graduated from West Texas A&M University and went undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft. In the previous season Stylianou played in Cyprus for Keravnos and won the domestic league. He is a member of the national team of Cyprus.

Giannis Giannaras signed a professional contract with PAOK

Giannis Giannaras signed his first professional contract with PAOK. Giannaras was born on 27th March 1999 in Cyprus and is 187 cm high. He started basketball in Cyprus with Keravnos Strovolou and in March 2012 against AEL, he became the youngest player to have ever played in the Cypriot League. In the next year, Giannaras joined PAOK Youth team and also the Greek U16 National Team. Giannaras penned a three years contract.

Kymi sign Jake O'Brien

Kymi sign Jake O'Brien. The 28 years old American forward began his college career at Boston University and graduated from Temple. In his last college season with Temple O'Brien averaged 9.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game. O'Brien went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft and started his professional career in Ukraine with Ferro-ZNTU but finished the season in the NBA D-League with Bakersfield Jam. In the next season O'Brien moved to Germany for Eisbären Bremerhaven and in 2015 he moved to Cyprus for Keravnos Strovolou. In the last season O'Brien won the Cypriot Basketball Championship with Keravnos.

PAOK signed William Hatcher

PAOK signed William Hatcher. The 31 years old American guard graduated from Miami and started his career in Germany Dragons Rhoendorf. Hatcher then moved to Romania for CSU Atlassib Sibiu and Czech Republic for BK Decin. He has also played in Cyprus for Keravnos Strovolou, in Israel for Galil Gilboa, in France for Le Havre and Spirou Charleroi, and in Greece again for PAOK in 2012-2013 when he averaged 10.2 points, 2.1 assists and 2 rebounds in 20 games.

Keravnos Strovolou signed Giorgos Kalafatakis

Keravnos Strovolou (Cyprus) signed Giorgos Kalafatakis. The Greek coach parted ways Rethymno Aegean in the summer of 2014 will replace Christos Stylianidis. Keravnos is currently in the fourth place counting five wins in nine games.

Ikaros Chalkidas signed Giannis Demertzis

Ikaros Chalkidas signed Giannis Demertzis. The 31 years old Greek play maker will try to help Ikaros in the last six games of the Greek Basket League. Demertzis started his professional career with Mantoulidis and then played for PAOK, Iraklis, Maroussi and Kavala in Greece. This season Demertzis was playing in Cyrpus for Keravnos.

Nea Kifisia signed Tony Crocker

Tony Crocker, 26 American small forward, agreed terms with Nea Kifisia. Crocker is the first foreign player of the newly promoted team. Crocker graduated from Oklahoma college and then played professionally for Albacomp (Hungary),  Ferro ZNTU (Ukraine) and KTP (Finland). In Albacomp he won the title Hungarian All-Star MVP (2011). Last season he played 22 games in Cyprus for Keravnos Strovolou scoring an average of 13,7 points per game. Crocker's twitter account is tcrock23
