Saloustros renews with Kolossos

Saloustros renews with Kolossos. The 26 years old Greek forward renewed his contract with Lavrio for one more year. Saloustros left Panionios and signed a three years contract with PAOK in 2014 but he did not have game time so he moved to Kolossos a year ago.

Zaragoza signed Giannoulis Larentzakis. The 23 years old Greek penned a four years contract with the Spanish team.

Larentzakis averaged 11.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in the Basket League Greece 2015-2016 regular season, being the second top scorer of his team behind Trevor Releford. The young player made the most turnovers of the league, but this is mainly a result of his new leading role.

Giannoulis Larentzakis was named 6th best young player of the Basket League 2012-2013, while playing for Ikaros Kallitheas, and he was free agent after a great tournament with Greece U20 national team.

He then moved to Aris, but his stay in Thessaloniki was not the best era for him, as he was evicted while being unpaid by the team.

In 2014 he was sent to Kolossos Rodou on loan, after having renewed his contract with Aris for three years, and he stayed in Kolossos for the rest of his contract with Aris.

Trevor Releford graduated from Alabama and played one season in Poland before he came to Greece and Kolossos Rodou. The team from the island of Rodos signed a great player that helped it joined the League Playoffs.
With great performances like the game against Korivos in Amaliada (35 points and 35 PIR), Releford climbed to the statistic leaders of many categories.

Combined with the fact that Releford was one of the 34 players that did not miss a single game of the 26 regular season games, he made it to the best players in
points scored (3rd), in assists (4th), in steals (2nd), in PIR (4th), and in turnovers (5th).

Kolossos Rodou signed Christos Saloustros

Kolossos Rodou signed Christos Saloustros. The 25 years old Greek forward had signed a three years old contract with PAOK but he was not in Soulis Markopoulos' current plans so he was released and agreed terms with Kolossos Rodou. Saloustros has played for Sporting, Filathlitikos, Panionios and PAOK where he averaged 3.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in the previous season.

Kolossos Rodou signed Gary McGhee. The 26 years old American center graduated from Pittsburgh and started his professional career in Turkey for Bandırma Kırmızı. McGhee then moved to Germany for Medi Bayreuth and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. In the previous season he started in Romania for CSM U Oradea, then moved in Kosovo for Sigal Prishtina and finished the season in Spain for CB Breogán where he averaged 10.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

Kolossos Rodou signed Sotiris Billis

Kolossos Rodou signed Sotiris Billis. The 19 years old forward started his career in Panionios youth team and in the previous season played 14 games with Panionios in Basket League. Billis is a member of Greece U19 and U20 national teams.

Kolossos Rodou signed Trevor Releford

Kolossos Rodou signed Trevor Releford. The 24 years old guard graduated from Alabama and in the previous season played in Poland for Wilki Morskie where he avaraged 18.2 points, 4.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.

Kolossos Rodou signed Alex Angelakos

Kolossos Rodou signed Alex Angelakos. The 21 years old Greek forward started his career with Kolsos and debuted in the Basket League in 2009-2010 season against AEK when he was 15 years, 2 months and 23 days old. Angelakos penned a three years contract. In the previous three years Angelakos played for Leicester Riders and Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, while studying.

Georgallis returns to Kolossos Rodou

Georgallis returns to Kolossos Rodou. This will be the third time that the 32 years old Georgallis will play for Kolossos. In the previous season Georgallis played for Apollon Patras where he averaged 3.1 points and 2.4 rebounds.

Kolossos Rodou signed Will Davis II

Kolossos Rodou signed Will Davis II. The 23 years old American forward graduated from Irvine University where he averaged 12.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in the previous NCAA season with UC Irvine Anteaters.

Kolossos Rodou signed Roope Ahonen

Kolossos Rodou signed Roope Ahonen. The 25 years old Finnish guard penned an one year contract with Kolossos. Ahonen played in the VTB with Bisons Loimaa, averaging 9.8 points and 2.7 assists per game. He is member of the Finnish national team and besides Bisons he had played for Borås Basket and Solna Vikings in Sweden and for Salon Vilpas and Torpan Pojat in Finland.

Kolossos Rodou signed Kelvin Lewis

Kolossos Rodou signed Kelvin Lewis. The 27 years old American guard had signed a contract with Kavala BC in 2010 but left the team without playing. After Kavala he returned to USA for Texas Legends and Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In 2012 he moved to Sweden for Solna Vikings and a year after he won the championship in Finland with Tampereen Pyrintö. In the previous season Lewis played in Romania for Timișoara averaging 9.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.

Giannoulis Larentzakis continues with Kolossos Rodou. The 22 years old Greek guard penned a 3 years contract with Aris on 2013 but played only one year and since last year is on loan to Kolossos Rodou. Larentzakis played 28 games with Kolossos averaging 7.11 points and 2.68 rebounds, but Aris' coach does not think the player will be useful for the team.

Lykogiannis continues with Kolossos Rodou

Lykogiannis returns to Kolossos Rodou. The Greek coach became the head coach of Kolossos after Koutalianos release and led the team to the league play offs. After Kolossos finished last season Koutalianos moved to Panathinaikos as assistant of Sotiris Manolopoulos and now returns to Kolossos to lead the team in the new season.
