The 29 years old Serbian guard started his career with Partizan, and has also played for Sloga Kraljevo, Atlas Belgrade, Vojvodina Srbijagas, FMP Železnik, Radnički KG 06, PBG Poznań Basket, New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig, and Mega Vizura. Duvnjak has played in Greece with PAOK, Rethymno, Panionios, and Kifisia.

Apollon Patras agreed terms with Anthony Hickey. The 23 years old American guard graduated from Oklahoma State. Hickey played played three years college basketball for the LSU Tigers and one year for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. After going undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft Hickey started his professional career in Poland with Asseco Gdynia, where he averaged 14.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Hickey started this season in Cyprus with AEK Larnaca but played only two games before moving to Apollon Patras. Hickey replaces Chris Jones, who was waived by the club after two games.

Apollon Patras sign Čedomir Vitkovac. The 33 years old Serbian forward penned an one month contract with Apollon. Vitkovac has played for Napredak, Crvena zvezda, Vojvodina Srbijagas, and Partizan in Serbia, for Budućnost Podgorica in Montenegro and Igokea in Bosnia.

Apollon Patras sign Nick Russell. The 25 years old American guard penned an one year contract. Russell graduated from Southern Methodist University and started his professional career in Cyprus with Etha Engomis, where he averaged 12.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. In the previous season Russell moved to Germany for Tübingen Walter Tigers where he averaged 6.7 points, 2.2 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game.

Apollon Patras sign Chris Jones. The 25 years old American guard graduated from the University of Louisville where he averaged 13.7 points and 3.6 assists per game. In 2015 Jones started his professional career in Turkey for Yesilgiresun Belediye, but in October he signed with BG Goettingen, and he finished the season in France with Paris-Levallois. With Paris-Levallois Jones averaged 12 points, 4.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Apollon Patras sign Edin Bavčić. The 32 years old Bosnian forward penned an one year contract. Bavčić returns to Basket League since he played for Aris in 2011 and for KAOD from 2012 to 2014. Bavčić counts 80 games in the Basket League Greece with 9.36 points and 5 rebounds per game on average. In the previous season he played in Hungary for Sopron.

Kalinoski went undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft and started his professional career in France for Élan Chalon, averaging 7.1 points and 1.5 assists per game.

Apollon Patras sign Giorgos Diamantakos. The 21 years old Greek center started his career from Spartiatikos and in 2012 he moved to Panathinaikos. In 2015 he moved to Turkey for Darüşşafaka and then went on loan to Kifisia. Apollon Patras had agreed terms with the player in November 2015, but due to transfer regulations this transfer was cancelled and the player moved to Croatia for GKK Šibenik.  He is a member of Greece U16, U18 and U20 national teams.

Slaftsakis will work again with coach Mexas, with the two having worked together in KAOD for two seasons. Slaftsakis started his career with Chalkidona and moved to Mantoulidis. In 2012 he signed with KAOD and in the last season he played for Korivos Amalidas, averaging 4.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Verginis averaged 10.4 points, 2.5 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game with Apollon.
