Shang Ping will debut in Greek Basketball League

Shang Ping (尚平) will take the place of Mike Batiste in the game against Panelefsiniakos for the second day of the Greek Basketball League. Shang Ping will debut in the Greek Basketball League and becoming the first player from China to play in Greece. Panathinaikos ( 帕纳辛纳克斯篮球队) officially opens a new market today.

11:00 local time. Press conference with Panathinaikos BC team, Foshan (佛山) municipality's representatives and Guangdong (广东) province's representatives. 

12:00 local time. Open to the public training.

Saturday 14th September

Move to Beijing ( 北京) where Panathinaikos BC Marketing Director Ilias Katsogiannis will meet with executives of China's big companies.

Sunday 15th September

10:30 local time. Panathinaikos BC players will visit International School of Beijing and offer gifts from PAO Shop in order to approach local society.

19:00 local time. Forum where Panathinaikos BC will be presented to official guests from government and sports officials of China. Forum will take place in Tsinghua University. An open to the public training of the team will take place the forum.

Monday 16th September

Panathinaikos BC will visit the The Summer Palace (颐和园).

Last training in China and return to Greece.

Panathinaikos BC to play first friendly game against Apollon Patras in Athens

Panathinaikos BC will play its first friendly game for the season in Athens against Apollon Patras. Lasme and Gist won't participate due to injuries and Fotsis, Bramos, Mavrokefalidis, Maciulis, Ukic as they participate in Eurobasket Slovenia. After this friendly game Panathinaikos will begin preparation for its trip to China on 11-17 September.

Panathinaikos BC joins Youku

After joining Weibo and Tencent Weibo Panathinaikos BC (帕纳辛纳克斯篮球队) joins Youku (优酷). The official channel of Greek champions is http://i.youku.com/PanathinaikosBC . 

Youku is the second largest video hosting service video site in the world after YouTube.
