Stephane Lasme named best center and best defender of the Greek Basket League. This is the second year in a row that Lasme is named best defender of the league. In the previous season Lasme was named Euroleague Best Defender, Greek League Best Defender and Greek League MVP. Lasme played 33 games with Panathinaikos in this season and had 10.73 points and 5 rebounds in average per game.

Panathinaikos released Mačiulis, Lasme, Bramos, Curry and Ping

Panathinaikos BC announced that the club used the option out in the contracts of Jonas Mačiulis, Stephane Lasme, Mike Bramos, Ramel Curry and Shang Ping. Those five players are now released from the club and are free to negotiate with other teams. Shang Ping was long ago out of the team plans but anyway he became the first Chinese player to win the Greek Championship and the Greek Cup. Panathinaikos may start negotiations with Mike Bramos but not with the rest four players.

Panathinaikos beat Apollon Patras in Patras for Greek Basket League 26th day. In the first round game Apollon Patras troubled Panathinaikos and so it did in this game in the first half. Apollon Patras was leading the score in the first and second quarters but with 13-31 partial score in the third quarter Panathinaikos counter attacked and won the game by 16 points. Panathinaikos had an impressive 79% (26/33) two pointers while both teams were good in three pointers, 12/23 for the home team and 10/24 for the away team. For Apollon Patras Roland Ross had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, while Giannis Molfetas was the top scorer with 19 points and 5/5 three pointers. CSKA Moscow hosted and beat Panathinaikos Athens for Euroleague Play Offs round 1. The home team was leading the game in the first half but Panathinaikos balanced the game and took the lead in the last quarter. PAOK lost by Panathinaikos for Greek Basket League 24th day. With that victory Panathinaikos secured the first place in the regular season again after three years. Panathinaikos had only 4/17 three pointers, while PAOK had 10/21 three pointers, but the visitors were impressive in field goals with 30/43. Panathinaikos beat Unicaja Malaga for Euroleague Top 16

Panathinaikos hosted and defeated Unicaja Malaga in Athens for Euroleague Top 16. It was a do or die game with the Greens needing the victory to qualify to the next round. Unicaja Malaga took an early lead in score but Panathinaikos made a 5-0 and a 7-0 run, so the first quarter finished with the home team ahead by 7, 17-12. Second quarter was balanced with Malaga lowering the difference to 5 points by the end of the first half. Both teams were bad in three pointers in the first half, 2/10 for Panathinaikos and 2/13 for Malaga. The strong point for Malaga was the offensive rebounds, having 12 in the first half while Panathinaikos had 15 in total. Unicaja Malaga counter attacked in the third quarter and equalized the score in 24th minute, 37-37, but Panathinaikos replied with a 10-0 run and made the score 47-37. Third quarter finished with a three pointer by Loukas Mavrokefalidis that made the score 55-41. In the last quarter Panathinaikos created a difference of 17 points but Malaga with a run lowered the difference to 9 points since the home team was playing with the mind in clock. Panathinaikos won Unicaja Malaga by 69-60 and qualified to the semi-finals of Euroleague. Panathinaikos improved in three pointers and rebounds in the second half, while Malaga finished the game with 3/20 three pointers. For Panathinaikos 11 players scored, all except Giankovits, and Dimitris Diamantidis was the top scorer with 13 points.

Panathinaikos' coach Fragiskos Alvertis used all available players and the team had its ups and downs. Panathinaikos started with a 20-8 score that Kolossos made 28-24, Panathinaikos made it again 35-24 and the first half finished with score 49-45. In the second half Panathinaikos was better and Kolossos Rodou couldn't follow the rotation so the difference went up to two digits. Panathinaikos defeated Anadolu Efes in Istanbul for Euroleague Top 16. With Fragiskos Alvertis debuting as coach Panathinaikos managed to win a very tight game where the score was 60-65 after one extra time. In a game where both teams had Greek coaches the defense was the key. Anadolu Efes seemed to control the game and win in the end but Jonas Mačiulis scored a very crucial three pointer 14 seconds before the end and equalized the score leading the game to extra time. Zoran Planinic with 15 points and Antonis Fotsis with 14 points were the top scorers of their teams. Stephane Lasme made a double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Panathinaikos hosted and beat Olympiacos for Euroleague Top 16. Olympiacos score the first points with Dunston but Panathinaikos replied. Olympiacos was scoring and Panathinaikos was equalizing till Roko Leni Ukić with a three pointer put Panathinaikos first time in lead with 10-9. Panathinaikos had won easily Apollon Patras in a friendly game earlier in this season and had a total 22-2 record against Apollon Patras. Apollon Patras' newest addition Roland Ross helped his team to lead the score in the first quarter. Panathinaikos counter attacked in the second quarter and with partial score 21-9 finished the first half leading the score by 9 points. In the first half nine different players scored for Panathinaikos. Roland Ross scored first in the second half but Panathinaikos made a 10-0 run and the difference went up to 20 points. Apollon Patras managed to finish the third quarter only 5 points behind, taking advantage of the many turnovers that Panathinaikos made. In the last quarter Jeremiah Wilson with a three pointer lowered the difference to two points and set the game on fire. Mike Bramos and Antonis Fotsis scored 5 points helping their team making a break. In a nervous game for Panathinaikos with many turnovers, Diamantidis was charged with a technical foul in the last minute and Apollon Patras approached again to 5 points, before Mike Bramos scoring a three pointer. Panathinaikos won Apollon Patras by 8 points in a good game for Apollon Patras. It was a tight game with 25/31 free throws for Panathinaikos and 17/22 for Apollon Patras, with 22 and 27 fouls made respectively. Stephane Lasme was the top scorer for Panathinaikos with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Jonas Mačiulis had 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Laboral Kutxa Vitoria had won five of its last six home games against Panathinaikos, but the Greens had a 10-6 lead in the all-time series. Panathinaikos had a great first quarter when the Greek team took the lead in score by 7 points. The home team counter attacked for two quarters, lowered the difference in the second and took the lead in the third quarter. The Greek champions made their own counter attack in the last crucial quarter and took a victory where they have lost in the previous round in details. James Gist was impressive but Stephane Lasme was productive with 20 points. Dimitris Diamantidis scored a crucial three pointer and served 9 assists, besides scoring 12 points. Rethymno Aegean hosted and lost by Panathinaikos for Greek League twelfth day. The first quarter was a game between Justin Hurtt and Kenny Gabriel against Panathinaikos. Hurtt and Gabriel had scored 9 and 7 points respectively, all the points of Rethymno Aegean in the first quarter and half of the team rebounds. For Panathinaikos Antonis Fotsis had 4 points and 6 rebounds in the first quarter, as many as the whole team of Rethymno. After 13 minutes in the game a third player scored for Rethymno, Aggelopoulos, making the score 22-26. With more players scoring for Rethymno the team approached Panathinaikos in the score with 25-26 with a three pointer by Arbet but Panathinaikos replied with two three pointers in a row. Half time finished with score 35-40. Rethymno Aegean managed to follow Panathinaikos since more players scored, besides Hurtt and Gabriel. For Panathinaikos 11 players have scored in the first half, with a bench depth that most teams in Greek League cannot compete. In the third quarter Panathinaikos broaden the difference with great team play and with double rebounds than Rethymno but also double turnovers. Panathinaikos won a game against a good team that didn't have its bench depth. For Panathinaikos Antonis Fotsis collected 11 rebounds but scored only 7 points and missed a double double. Panathinaikos Athens hosted and defeated EA7 Emporio Armani Milan for Euroleague's Top 16 first game. Panathinaikos was improved than the group phase and with 10/21 three pointers and 39 rebounds won the game with a difference. For the winners James Gist scored 12 points and Roko Leni Ukić 11 points.
