Kymi added Nikos Barlos

Kymi added Nikos Barlos. This will be the eight different club in the Basket League Greece for the 38-year-old Greek. Barlos counts 332 games and 2332 points in the Basket League and has played for Apollon Patras, Olympiacos, AEK, Aris, Panionios, Nea Kifisia, and Lavrio. In his last season in the Basket League with Lavrio Barlos averaged 8.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Doukas sign Manolis Papamakarios

Doukas sign Manolis Papamakarios. The 36 years old Greek guard penned a two years contract. Papamakarios joined Faros Keratsiniou last year and helped the team to make it to the Greek Cup Final and get promoted in Basket League Greece. Unfortunately Faros will not participate in the forthcoming Basket League so the two sides parted ways recently, and Papamakarios joined Doukas. In the previous season Papamakarios averaged 10.3 points, 2.5 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.

Nikos Chatzis retired

Nikos Chatzis retired. The 39 years old Greek guard announced that he retires as a player and will continue his career in basketball as a coach. In his announcement he highlights the European Under 16 Championship that he won in 1993, and the World Under 19 Championship that he won in 1995.
Chatzis started his career in AEK where he played for ten years in a row (1995-2005) and another two (2007-2009) after playing for a year in Olympiacos and one year in Panionios. In 2009 Chatzis moved to Ilisiakos and his last team was Arkadikos in A2 League. With AEK he had won twice the Greek Championship (2000, 2001) and in 2000 he also won the Saporta Cup. Chatzis played 554 games in the A1 League of Greece and scored 5.200 points, becoming the top scorer of the Greek Basket League in 30th March 2014.

Michalis Kakiouzis renewed with Nea Kifisia

Michalis Kakiouzis renewed with Nea Kifisia. The 38 years old experienced player played 20 games with Nea Kifisia in the Basket League Greece 2013-2014 and had 7.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in average.

Rentzias is the new general manager of Aries Trikala

Efthimis Rentziasis the new general manager of Aries Trikala BC. Rentzias former basketball player who started his career in Danaos Trikala before playing for PAOK, Barcelona, Philadelphia 76ers, Ulker, Siena and Valladolid. After Valladolid Rentzias retired due to injuries. Rentzias is also an elected member of Thessaly prefecture.

Nea Kifisia signed Michalis Kakiouzis

Nea Kifisia signed Michalis Kakiouzis. The 37 years old Greek veteran player is a great addition for the team of Kifisia. Kakiouzis has played among others for AEK, Aris, Montepaschi Siena, Sevilla, Efes, Virtus Roma, ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne and was member and captain of the Greek National Basketball team. In the summer of 2013 he participated in the training camp of Olympiacos and today he agreed terms with the team of Nea Kifisia. Kakiouzis will probably debut in the forthcoming game against PAOK.

Ikaros Chalkidas signed Ioannis Gagaloudis

Ikaros Chalkidas signed the experienced Greek veteran Gagaloudis. Ioannis Gagaloudis was playing in Tunisia for Étoile Sportive du Sahel in the previous season. Gagaloudis' long career includes teams from Greece like Panathinaikos, PAOK, Aris, Kavala, Maroussi and teams from Italy like Virtus Roma. The 35 years old guard signed an one year contract with the team from Chalkida.

Aries Trikala signed Nestoras Kommatos

Aries Trikala BC signed Nestoras Kommatos. The 36 years old forward will help with this experience the team from Trikala. Kommatos has played in Aris, PAOK, AEK, Maroussi, Fortitudo Bologna and Maccabi Tel Aviv in his career and last season he was playing in Greek basketball league with AGOR (Rethymno). With Rethymno AGOR he played 35 games and had an average of 8.4 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Lazaros Papadopoulos to become a coach

Lazaros Papadopoulos announced that this year he wants to try out coaching. First he said that he needs to learn coaching and improve his knowledge but he does not know if he will be an active athlete too.
