Christos Iordanou Extends Contract with Maroussi

Christos Iordanou has extended his contract with Maroussi for two more years. The 26-year-old small forward will continue to contribute to the team’s efforts to achieve their goals in the upcoming seasons.

The official statement from Maroussi reads: "The KAE G.S. AMAROUSIOU 1896 announces the two-year extension of our collaboration with Christos Iordanou (26, 1.96m). His performance (in 17 games) and character helped the team achieve its goal of remaining in the league. After overcoming his injury, he gained more playing time (average 10.30 minutes) and demonstrated his usefulness."

Psyhiko Athens (2016–2022): Iordanou began his professional career with Psyhiko Athens in the Greek second division, where he progressively improved his performance over several seasons.

    2016-17 Season: 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists in 9.0 minutes per game.
    2017-18 Season: 6.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.8 assists in 16.0 minutes per game.
    2018-19 Season: 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists in 15.9 minutes per game.
    2019-20 Season: 3.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.6 assists in 16.0 minutes per game.

Apollon Patras sign Giannis Sinis

Apollon Patras (A2) sign Giannis Sinis. The 26-year-old Greek Canadian played college basketball with San Diego. He has played in Spain for Cambados, and in Greece for Apolloniada, Rethymno, Kavala, and Psyhiko. In the last season, Sinis averaged 4.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per game with Psyhiko in A2 League Greece.

Faros sign Vasilis Mouratos

Faros sign Vasilis Mouratos. The 19 years old Greek guard penned a two years contract with the newly promted team. Mouratos joined Olympiacos in 2014 with a five years contract but was released by the club earlier this year. In the previous season Mouratos played on loan to Psyhiko in the A2 League. Mouratos was a member of the Greece U20 and U18 national teams that won the European Championships of 2017 and 2015 respectively.

Trikala sign Stefanos Skouloudis

Trikala sign Stefanos Skouloudis. The 23 years old Greek center has played for Proteas Voulas, Kymi, and Psyhiko. In 16 games in the A2 League Greece with Kymi Skouloudis averaged 0.6 points per game.

Olympiacos released Vasilis Mouratos

Olympiacos released Vasilis Mouratos. The 19 years old Greek guard penned a 5 years contract with Olympiacos in 2014, and played on loan to Psyhiko in the last season. Mouratos is a member of the Greece U20 National Team.

Korivos Amaliadas signed Panos Filippakos. The young Greek forward signed a three years contract. Filippakos was training with the team and the coach Haris Markopoulos is satisfied with the player. In 2011-2012 Filippakos won the school championship with Doukas College and then he played with Doukas mens teams and with Psyhiko in the A2 division.
